They need to beat us in the next 2 games, and we both have to get upsets in the first round so we can face each other if there is going to be a rivalry.
That's not a rivalry. This is pretty much perverse masochism from GSW, relishing to get destroyed time and time again.
The Rockets have only had a real rivalry and that's with the Jazz. The most series the Jazz have played is against us and the playoff series have been great. Now with Sloan gone and their team not full of a-holes, I think the rivalry will soon fade. The Warriors don't have the a-hole fanbase to become a true rival. Maybe a new one will start, would be fun but I don't see the Warriors as one. I actually like them, despite of their childish coach and I actually don't see our Rockets as a team ready for a rivalry yet. The Warriors tried to make something out of nothing, but no Rocket was really into it. It was one-sided though fun while it lasted.
Bump old thread. Remember when we as a majority thought they werent even in our class. This is when we pummeled them every time and shot 59 3's on them every time out.
