Golden State isn't trading Monta Ellis. That's their cornerstone player, along with Brandan Wright and Anthony Randolph. The rest of the team can be had at the right price. I don't think they'd turn down a McGrady/Landry for Crawford/Jackson/Turiaf deal.
I wouldn't want Magette... He plays hard, but that dude plays 1-on-5... We need a guy who can shoot BUT at the same time, a willing passer... Von Wafer + Magette = 0 assist every night ... Jackson or Ellis + 1 of their bigs would do it...
they are trying and have been trying to move him. I am not sure if you have been reading the articles on him but they were even thinking about voiding his contract when he hurt himself last offseason. So yes he is on there list. They are trying to move Maggette, Crawford, Ellis, Jackson, and Ronny

The trade for Tmac is this Tmac and Barry for: Camby, DeAndre Jordan, and Baron Provides with very capable Yao replacements and a young developing center in DeAndre Jordan from Htown. We could put Baron at the 1 or 2 or move him for another scoring small forward or shooting guard.

I am very wary of taking on any contracts lasting beyond 3 years. Ellis + Biedrens is like 120 million dollars over the next 5 years!
I think many here are overstimating T-Mac a little bit, until he can play, he is a big expiring contract. I wouldn´t mind getting Magette and Biedrins for example. (would be great to add Belinelli) But you gotta understand that getting Biedrins should make the deal, he solves any problem we have with Yao. Magette is instant offense as sixth man, and Belinelli is the kind of Fiba 2 guard that would be great under Adelman. Brooks/Lowry Belinelli/Magette Battier/Artest Scola/Landry Yao/Biedrins Any combination of those players could be competitive. We would be very deep. An Adelman showed us he ccan make things work.
