was there any doubt that shot by navarro was going to fall? navarro can't walk and chew gum at the same time in the NBA, but damned if he can't make 15 foot, one-handed runners, lefty floaters, 3's, and perfect passes to gasol in this game. paul blowing a layup, williams committing about his 10th charge of these olympics, and wade driving into nothing at the end of the clock, 3 perfect chances to extend the lead thrown away by team USA. and then the combination of our terrible D and the whole spanish team making the shots of their lives gives us a 9 point lead going into the 4th. a couple of 3's and we lose.
Navarro was softer than charmin in the NBA. Dude couldn't do anything but shoot 3s. Tonight he is getting to the basket with ease. No way should that girl be beating anybody on our team off the dribble.

i told you, the most crushing moment i could ever imagine is going to happen. deron williams misses a layup to make it 11, and it explodes into a loose ball layup, an alley-oop, and then another long 3 from the worst 3 point shooting team in the tournament. 2 point game, PG's throwing the game, kobe forcing, no D. i can't see us winning honestly.
Alright, my opinion has changed. The 3-pointers and FT's kept them alive in the first half. Now, their hustle, ability to get to the basket and second chance points are changing the tone of this contest. It's a two point game right now. Should be an interesting finish.
