El Salvador has looked really good so far. Mexico should beat them but i wouldn't be shocked if El Salvador pulls it off. USNMT fans might hate the Mexican team, but central americans really, really hate them lol
People whining about the US v Canada game forget exactly what that game was. It was basically a regular season MLS game. We got exactly what the talent level of both rosters offered. Had the US had our full roster, we win that easily...even if Canadia has Alfonso Davies.
That is the point of this thread, what the hell good does it do to play in the GOLD CUP when other countries are playing in the EUROS preparing for their World Cup runs. We are already behind, we need to play better more meaningful games. DD
I'm guessing that if there weren't the Nations League games (that should've been played last year and forced the Gold Cup to start later), that more of the 1st teamers would've been here. But with them coming off a long and late running European season, right into those games and then having the Gold Cup cut well into their preseason with their clubs, it didn't make sense to force that upon them. Even more so when you consider the WC qualifying schedule. CONCACAF needs to go to every 4 years, period. And as many of us have said, it would be best to find a way to combine the tournament with COMNEBOL.
Austin is getting a World Cup qualifier. Can someone tell me what this means in regards to tickets ? The USSF said it will conduct a weighted random draw for tickets based on affiliation group.
