yeah could you imagine if obama's mom or dad were alive and they said something like that? It would be the main topic on Sean Hannity's show for like a month straight. Conservatives would go be in heaven. Anyways how dumb must her dad be to say something like that to the press regardless of if it is true or not?
John McCain this morning calls the biggest player on the republican scene "irrelevant." "I think that Sarah Palin is a -- has earned herself a very big place in the Republican political scene," McCain said. "I'm proud of her. I am entertained every time I see these people attack her and attack her and attack her. She's irrelevant, but they continue to attack her." McCain on Meet the Press
Good call. She is incredibly irrelevant. Even if she gets her dream job of a tv show, she will still be moderately irrelevant.
In fact, she is so irrelevant that this board has produced 25 pages of commentary about her in this thread alone, of which the substantial majority of posts have been authored by the same people who routinely and forcefully propound her irrelevance. Hmmmm. And of course this is not the only Sarah Palin thread in this forum by any means.
She generates that because she is a laughing stock. It's fun to watch her make a dunce of herself. I'll go in almost every Palin thread and watch that. Does that mean she's relevant?
Of course Mojorge fails to mention that it's republican party leaders refering to her as irrelevant. oh well
She is more than a laughing stock, IMO. She is a bellweather, a benchmark, a canary in the mine. If she can truly have a sustained political career, as an intellectually deficient, inarticulate, issueless populist, we have declined significantly as a nation. That's why I love the comments, and the irony, of the articulate camo fellow in the video I posted. He's surrounded by a long line of evidence of our internal failings, and he succinctly says our nation isn't what it used to be.
Yeah, I meant to comment on that guy. From his comments he would seem not to be a Palin supporter. I guess they don't preclude him from being one, but oh well.
It was obvious from reading the above quote that McCain was being sarcastic about the hypocrisy of her detractors. I am not at all convinced that you did not notice that.
She's popular by the Paris Hilton syndrome. She makes questionable and laughable comments that only a select group of the population admire. This, too, wil end.
I actually think Paris Hilton is the perfect analogy to Sarah Palin. Wow - in fact, they could switch places and it wouldn't change much.
greater than 20k PVs in the various Palin threads, and that's just the first page. Irrelevant? as my man Inigo Montoya said...
if page views on Clutchfans are signs of political relevancy then Vince Young better run for f***** president.

To all of you Sarah Palin haters here on this board who constantly and repeatedly use the word "irrelevant" to describe her, as often and as frequently as you engage in conversation about her: “You keep on using that word … I do not think it means what you think it means.”
And for you haters, one more quote. Or actually a paraphrase from William Shakespeare's Hamlet - Act 3, scene 2: I think you do protest too much.
