Who actually used effort to destroy Palin? And by effort I mean doing more than just run footage of her speaking and then laugh at her.

The following were some of the ethics complaints filed against her in Alaska after running for VP. The total number of charges was around 20 and all were dismissed. It ended up costing her personal legal fund around 300,000 dollars.

1)Wearing a Artic Cat jacket at a dog race

    2)Attending a SarahPAC dinner

3)The press release announcing she was running for VP was an improper use of state resources

The Newsweek cover and the Us Weekly cover were certainly inappropriate.

How about the thousands of private investigators the mainstream media sent after her and not Obama.

What you mentioned didn't take effort. They were just easily available because Palin has so much dirt in her closet. We're not talking about crap like lapel pins here, which REALLY requires effort.

Any proof of this? I'd like a list of PIs the "mainstream" media(which I assume doesn't include Fox news) put on Obama and the list they had on Palin. As well as the Dirt to PI Ratio to see if they're being biased.

You asked who was attacking Palin and I answered the people who filed these ridiculous lawsuits and liberal media sources such as US Weekly and Newsweek.

Your first question makes little sense to me. It usually doesn't take effort to attack someone.

"Palin has so much dirt"? you mean like wearing a jacket with a logo? or like telling the people she represents that she is running for VP?

    But I didn't.

I asked who used effort to attack Palin.

Great point. Its good to be specific. Its only an inappropriate personal attack if it takes above 5 hours to accomplish?

I would also say writing out 20 ethic complaints and mass producing a magazine takes effort.

Of course she was guilty of ethics violations so the effort might have been for a just cause rather than just an attack.

What magazine are you referring to?

No, dirt like lying about a government jet airplane, a personal chef that she supposedly trimmed from the govt. payroll even though she didn't, lying about her whole stance and take on the bridge to nowhere, her mistreatment of native populations of Alaska, her being such an idiot that even after was a candidate for VP, she still thought that there was a Department of Law that operated out of the Whitehouse.

    That kind of dirt.

The only ethics violation she was ever found guilty of that I know of was troopergate which was later over-turned.

the magazine covers I posted about 6 posts up (Newsweek and US Weekly).

This is far too unspecific for me to retort fairly. How did she mistreat the natives? what did she say that was incorrect about the bridge to nowhere? what lie about a government jet airplane?

Throw in some links. If you are gonna attack someones reputation in public (not a small thing) at least be exact about it.

Well during the campaign each of those things was addressed and leaked. I'll find some more links for you, today or tomorrow. Or you could google them yourself.

Yes. Alaska has one of the most corrupt governments in the country because of the Good Ol' Boys some of who are Republicans. They hate Palin because she fought and outed some of them when she was working for the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

So, if there are 20 ethics related lawsuits filed against Barack Obama, then regardless of the outcome, even if he was cleared on all 20, he would regarded as guilty too, right?

Or, is this yet another illustration of the double standard of the left.

Last I checked, Americans were constitutionally required to be considered innocent until proven guilty. Apparently for many on the left, that only applies to people who share their ideological perspectives.

The hypocrisy of the left apparently knows no bounds.

    hi mojoman

the only point i'm making is that the "liberal left" isn't involved in some conspiracy to take Palin down. seocndly, personally, i have actually acknowledged one of palin's problems has been paying for lawyers to face these charges, she's wasn't a very wealthy woman as a politician so it certainly is a reasonable that she was pushed out by defending herself against these allegations.

at the same time I do think you do have to acknowledge that even tough some of thes lawsuits maybe vindictive, she certainly is someone who can make enemies by her own arrogance.
