i'm always impressed with the incredible generosity of spirit of the liberals on this board. well done.
Cruising under aged girl’s blogs basso? I'm sure it's only for for political talking points right? hum....
Just picked up Going Rogue this morning, it's a great read so far. Basso, they can't ignore her, the ratings she brings are too enticing. All they can try to do is ridicule her. Thing is, they've thrown the kitchen sink at her and she's still standing. Her popularity isn't media driven, the media has tried to destroy her. Unlike Obama, the media didn't make her, so they can't destroy her. Where Obama's support was wide and shallow (and it's not even wide any more), Palin's is broad and deep. All the ridicule in the world can't change the fact that this is a genuinely good person, who has lived a good life, who has succeeded without the help of money or connections or a political machine. To the contrary, the political machine's of both parties have tried to oppose her. I've never done anything to support a politician except vote. Not any more.
She's succeeded only in garnering enough votes to govern a state of less than 700,000 people, and even that she quit before the job was done. Her political constituency was barely greater than that of a Houston city council person. Keep reading, though. Let me know how the story ends.
Of course I'm petty. But is what I'm saying untrue? How is Palin's support "broad and deep," when almost all public polling shows she has quite limited backing, except for a committed & small group among the far right? Christian Science Monitor: "Sarah Palin ‘Going Rogue’ to the White House? Polls say no." [rquoter]Washington Here’s one big reason why Sarah Palin may not run for president in 2012: Her poll numbers are awful. It’s possible for determined politicians to reverse poor ratings of public opinion. Hillary Clinton has done it, to a certain degree. And some experts say Ms. Palin’s current situation is similar to that faced by Secretary of State Clinton in the past. But, still … 66 percent of respondents to a CBS News survey released Monday said they did not want Sarah Palin to run for the White House in 2012. Seventy percent of respondents to a CNN/Opinion Research poll said Palin is not qualified to be president. And for Palin, the trend is going the wrong way. As Pollster.com’s compilation shows, her numbers have slid significantly this year, particularly following her resignation from Alaska’s governorship in July. “Perceptions of Palin’s qualifications for the presidency are shockingly low for a former presidential/VP nominee — there’s been no one comparable to her since Dan Quayle,” wrote Brendan Nyhan, an assistant professor of government at Dartmouth, in a recent Pollster.com commentary. Palin continues to be a highly polarizing figure. Republicans are much less dismissive of her qualifications than Democrats or independents. In the CBS survey released this week, 43 percent of GOP respondents said Palin would have the ability to be an effective President. But only 11 percent of Democrats and 29 percent of independents agreed...[/rquoter]
Oh that liberal Christian Science Monitor. Give us a big stinking break, aghast! You, your liberal media, and all your little... facts, just step aside. Reality has never meant anything to our Sarah, and it won't stand in her way the future and our children in this great land America, either.
Um...Sara's not a politician (at least not anymore). In fact, I don't think even she knows what she is.
An honest-to-goodness multi-millionaire, apparently. I can no longer complain about the salaries of athletes, entertainers, reality-show contestants or even celebutantes. For some reason all I can think about now is that movie, "Straight Talk," with Dolly Parton. She pretends to be a radio shrink, and some psychologist asks her on the air what college she went to...dramatic pause..."Screw U, that's where." Palin's Hockey-Mom Naivete = Clinton's Baby Boomber Infidelity, unflattering but humanizing.
Morning giddy! Nope! No hate at all. Why would I hate on something that is helping the democrats anytime it opens it's mouth? More a fascination; kinda like rubbernecking a car accident.
Oh my... "I hope she doesn't (run) because I think she could do a lot for America outside of office," ..."And I think she could rally Americans to get together and make some changes from the grassroots level. I think she could be an incredible rallying point, and I think that's where she could serve America best." Joe the Plumber on Palin running for president
