lol a fox news poll. You seriously want to post that after their recent public apology of showing campaign rally video to show her at her book signing? For the 2nd time in two weeks?!?! "It was a production error."
Seriously, I heard the Afghan poll results are more accurate than Fox News polls. Did Fox hire the Iraqi Minister of "Information" recently?
If God hadn't intended for us to wear shoes, how come he made them out of soles and laces? I keep thinking she's more of a potential electoral force than she's being given credit for, though. "Working class" caucasian women, especially housewives, and disempowered conservatives of every stripe, may line up behind her. "Wife and mother" may be the new "Washington outsider," in that the distinction would excuse her inexperience, mobilize a politically underrepresented demographic, and exempt her from any mistakes that moderate Congressional Republicans may make over the next 3 years. Similar if not wholly analogous to Carter's and Reagan's ascendancies in '76 and '00.
Palin, on how to get Ahmadinejad under control... "We have allies who are as concerned about Ahmadinejad's actions as we are. We need to be working closer with France, and with Britain, and start, not just considering, but seriously taking steps towards the sanctions that we hear all about but we never see any actions towards, though. "Cutting off the imports into Iraq, of their refined petroleum products. They're reliant -- 40 to 45 percent of their energy supply is reliant on those imports. We have some control over there. "And some of the beneficial international monetary deals that Iraq benefits from -- we can start implementing some sanctions there and start really shaking things up, and telling Ahmadinejad, nobody is going to stand for this."
The hate in here is so unbelievably thick. I know you guys aren't afraid of her, but the pile on of hate is so ridiculous that it does suggest that there is something about Palin that just bothers the **** out of you. Watching you guys dog pile the hate is like watching a bunch of kids running around waving their sticks shouting, "na na na na boo boo". Seriously.
Hey genius you do realize those are two completely different questions right? We really can't ask how Sara is doing in her job now can we?
How can someone that clueless about foreign policy ever think about being the president of the united states? Then again we elected Bush Jr as president for eight years.
let me tell you what bothers me: that we live in a country where a person this clueless gets even CLOSE to being near the red button. yes, that bothers me. i know absolute card-carrying republicans who had donated money to mccain's campaign prior to this selection who feel exactly the same way.
To many Palin supporters the ability to run the country matters little, all you need is to support their point of view. Just like in the old days in China where if you scream you love chairman Mao you can do no wrong, that is really sad.
I think the problem is that not everyone is treating her this way. A concerned public should laugh someone like this off of the political stage. She is so ill prepared to have a leadership role on the national stage that her attempts should be met with derisive laughter every step of the way. An informed concerned public should want no part of anything that stinks as bad as Palin's qualifications to be a national politician or spokesperson for political issues.
The picture was taken for a runner's magazine. It's appropriate for that type of magazine. Putting it on the cover of a news magazine that is discussing the problems she poses America has a clear motive.
MADMAX & FranchiseBlade While I agree that inexperience could be one of her faults, but it was McCain that pegged her. She didn't vote herself into this. All she did was say "Yes, I'll be your running mate." And she and her handlers did their best in that capacity. If 2012 is on her radar, she now has about 3 years to get it. As patient as I am with Obama, I'll show Palin the same.
when was it taken? was it during the campaign and did she talk about politics in the article? she had a flag beside her which shows she was making some sort of political statement outside of running.
I heard a commentator for the Weekly Standard complaining about this same thing. While I don't think it was a good journalistic move for Newsweek its not like stuff like magazines don't mix up, or make up images, to mock, criticize or raise other issues about public figures. For example: and The only problem I see with the Newsweek cover is whether they attributed it properly to Runner's World.
