    Ask yourself this:

Would the Heat be a playoff team without Lebron? Easily

Would the Thunder be a playoff team without Durant? Possibly

Would the Spurs be a playoff team without TP? No way in hell

Shouldn't MVP make teammates better? So we now know LeBron makes Wade and Bosh worse while Durant makes Westbrook better. I think it's pretty clear who should get MVP.

Yeah, Lebron never makes his teammates better. His teammates in Cleveland and Miami are carrying him.

Indeed he didn't. The stats say so. Hughes, Shaq, Jamison. Now Wade and Bosh. It's Wade's team though so it's OK.

This whole thing about MVP being taken literally is what has people confused.

Thanks to Nash winning it a few years back people started to take the MVP as "Player who is most valuable to their team" and Nash did deserver those MVPs but then his argument to winning them over players like Kobe then was that if you took Nash off his team then they would suck but at that time I think Kobe deserved the MVP in 2006 but I understand why Nash got it.

Before that though the MVP was always and usually the "Most Outstanding/Best Player."

To me if it is the best player in the league it's going to Lebron or Durant.

I think it goes to Lebron(although I'd go with Durant)...still though it's a recurring theme about Lebron that his teams are always favored to win then something goes wrong and everyone starts blaming his teammates and how they need more help and now all of a sudden Wade is not that good and Bosh is trash...

Considering the way, he started ... it's most likely Lebron James.
