That's not too bad of a deal if you ask me. Rockets could pick up a top talent in a stacked draft without having to go through the whole tanking business.

Yes. I love Lowry but keep GD and trade for value.

Of course that can be accomplished with an SnT, as well.

Gogi is a better player than the bolded ones. And Kemba should be named for CHA's main PG.

Chuck Hayes went to Sacramento. Players will go where the money is.

In general, yes, they go for the money, but the money being close to equal, or equal because of no income tax, combined with a desire to stay with his current team, can cause some players to do what they can to stay. That's what Chuck did. He wanted to stay with the Rocks, and waited for the Gasol/Nene deal to play out. Morey had set up getting Gasol and Nene, and a resigned Chuck for Scola/Martin w/fillers. The Evil Stern destroyed the deal, and we lost Hayes, lost everyone. In other words, what you said usually applies, but not always, IMO.

    Fair enough.

I hope Goran stays. Chuck was the most stable thing I've had as a fan of the Rockets. Really believed he would be a Rocket for life.

I love Chuck and was very bummed out that we lost him. I'm still steamed that Stern did that to us. And yes, I hope we manage to keep Goran.

ironically if Stern hadn't "done that to us" we wouldn't even have Dragic to pine over. Interesting how things work out.

Calling on all fans to launch a major twitter man-crush campaign to try and persuade him to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can see utah or portland. Both teams have some young guys with upside, but also have some established guys. He looks like he would land there.

I definitely wont be happy with Morey if he lets Dragic go for nothing. It will be another case against Morey. For sure in my book.

    from his hoopshype interview...

After almost four years, how have you adjusted to life in the U.S. and NBA?

GD: Before, I was alone here, now I have a girlfriend. She’s living here with me, so it’s much easier for me. When you have a bad game, you’re not alone, you can talk with somebody. I feel like now I am home, that I was born here in the U.S. I know now a lot things that I didn’t know before.

hopefully his gf lives here in houston and he loves her or is on a tight leash so he wouldnt want to leave!

Yup, I think Dragic would've shined in NO right away and you would hear CF hating on Morey for trading him just like when they torched him for giving up Lin lol

    You mean SG: Kevin Martin

Martin's still white, he's Egyptian, which makes him northern african, which makes him White
