ye gods, it's the first game after a massive trade, one that made our interior D weaker in the short term (although D was not Carl's strong suit). give adleman a little time to work the new guys into his scheme, and see what he's got in the young bigs. if there's a problem, he'll find a way to compensate.

    patience, grasshoppers.

I understand that the interior defense has been bad but that has been a problem all season even when we had Landry. With Yao out and no Mutombo anymore, it is something we just have to deal with.

However, having undersized guards like TJ Ford going off on us is something that has NOT been a problem. If Kyle had been healthy, that crap wouldn't have happened. He is stronger than Brooks, Temple, Martin, and anyone else we have at the guard spot and I would guess stronger than Ford.

I just hate to see us lose at home to really bad teams especially those teams that have only won a single digit number of road games (like the 76ers and Pacers). The Thunder may hold on and get in the playoffs but it would sure suck if we missed on that last spot by a game or two.

Chuck had no chance against a 7'2" 280 lb center. He picked up 4 personal fouls in 13 minutes.

With Scola and Andersen playing center, the game was over. The Pacers had a free path to the basket for the guards.

The interior defense was even worse this game than any other game in the season.

As soon as Chuck got in foul trouble, it was Scola and Andersen manning the interior defense.

The center position hurt the rox even more. I always thought Landry defensive board is on the low side, but compare to Anderson.... Need to work out those defensive boards.

AB's pick and roll defense is probably the worse in the league, I like the guy but the defense is getting down right atrocious game by game it seems.

that loser tj ford had the game of his life. if a pitbull defender like lowry was there, something tells me it would have been much harder for him.

    "loser tj ford??"

Are you kidding? You mean the guy who led Houston's Willowridge High School to a 75-1 record, including a 62 game winning streak? The "loser" who had over 8 assists a game as a freshman at UT? The loser who led UT to the first Final Four appearence since 1947? The "loser" who was named Player of the Year by numerous publications while at UT and an All-American? That "loser?"

Geez! We were lit up by a player, dude.

Yes, it is Lowry that will save this team and lead them to the ends of the earth.

Again, AB can do nothing wrong?

Yao would be fouled out in first half if perimeter guys let their men pass them at will.

Interior defense is the last solution. It all starts with perimeter unless the offense was started by a post player.

Thank you DaDakota, we need a beast coming off the bench cause D/A is not gonna do it, no defense, no rebounding and last no shot blocking! Last night andersen looked like he was stuck in cement on defense

You can't chuck 'em out there until they have at least a practice or two under their belts.

Not sure who will be in the long term plan. Obviously some of the new guys will leave after this season. Let those guys take minutes away from players who'll be in the long term plan is not wise. I'd rather see Andersen develop and lose a couple more games than let a half-year rental play all the minutes and win a couple more.
