AB was shined because he had a hot streak and nobody had studied his games before. Now after all these games, Blazers know how to deal with him: Don't leave him open like they do to Alston.
Ron and AB should really pick up their touch in the next game, its the last chance to prove themselves. otherwise they will be pissed off by the whole world
I mean open at 3 point line. He can drive all he wants, since he can't find teammate anyway after breaking defense.
To run the offense. PGs make mistakes, AB makes a little more because he is just in his 2nd season and still learning. D-Will made 2-3 consecutive turnovers in the final 2 minutes of game 2 vs Lakers, a game they had a very good chance of stealing. It happens. No PG is PERFECT.
Aaron Brooks is Allen Iverson without the intangibles. Which would include his toughness. In other words, Aaron Brooks is a dumber and a softer version of Allen Iverson.
Yup I was that too. Yao's body language was "WTF"? The reason all this time with the 4th quarter collapse is definitly is the PG problem decision making. We have 2 rookies PG that can't handle the pressure and makes stupid plays.
Well, actually I've noticed that play in which Yao passes high low to Brooks in the post where he has decent space. This is a play Yao and SF3 used to run many times, and SF3 always finish. AB?。。he never finishes these, always got blocked the shiit out or clank.
What a pity! We didn't trade for Billups. It is my eternal anguish! See the Nug this year.......Our Championship~
AI is selfish, he doesn't want to pass. But when AI passes, he has better court vision than AB. On the other hand, AB is not that selfish, he just doesn't know when, how and where to pass, and he doesn't have NBA starting PG's court vision.
That's a lie, Iverson is not selfish. Give him Yao Ming and I doubt anybody would be calling him a cancer or a ballhog still. Aaron Brooks is just a tool. I can't be any nicer than that to Aaron "Zero Assists" Brooks.
Can we please not make a seperate thread each for our own opinion? Seriously, there are 5 AB threads already that this could have gone in. Where are the MODs today?
he's fine, he just needs time to gel into the unit. luis, shane, and yao have been playing together for a couple years now and AB was just placed into the starting 5 just this year, a few months ago. let the dust settle before suggesting trading him, he could turn out to be a good starter or a backup for us. he's quick, and can shoot.
On #5. Yeah, I posted about it on today's postgame analysis. I'm also wondering why are a lot of Brooks' passes end up with Artest.... Partners in crime, or "birds of the same feather flock together" or something like that perhaps.
next time scola and Yao have less FG than brooks and artest, I'm gonna switch to hdmi immediately and play ps3
You don't have to be perfect, you just have to not suck like Mr. Brooks tonight. Both Brooks and Lowry (what little minutes he got) played extremely hard tonight, but they need to play smart as well.
To our rookie player AB, pls study the basic knowledge again before the game 6 in Houston ...this is about a matter of life and death. Point guard (PG), also called the one or "the ball-handler", is one of the standard positions in a regulation basketball game. Point guards are often the smallest players on the court (with a notable exception being 6'9" Magic Johnson). A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position -- essentially, they are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right players at the right time. Above all, the point guard must totally understand and accept his coach's game plan. Link:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point_guard
