back OT, what Jonah was decrying is not just name calling, which goes on all the time (on both sides, although of late the left has become particularly unhinged), but rather the grotesque hypocrisy of demanding civility from republicans, even as they blame some republicans for the giffords shooting (clearly false), and then using the same rhetoric themselves, directed at republicans, on the very day Giffords returned to the House. the juxtaposition is jarring.

The problem isn't liberal or conservative bias in the media. The problem is corporate interests. I don't watch the news because the news doesn't say anything. Any time I turn on the news I can't help but see the anchors as children in suits reading off what the bigger children tell them to. Its hilarious that people devote so much of their time listening to the bull**** that every news outlet spouts. Its a complete and utter waste of time.
incidentally, if America broke its' own Constitution to wiretap Wall Street rather than Al Qaeda... The stuff Wall Street did to the country from 2008 onwards is the kind of thing terrorists can only dream of.
