I'm rooting for the Heat to take it all, anything to make Kobe cry makes me happy. This is the last year of the Shaq era and I want him to go out with a championship. He shoule enjoy it because it is the last one he'll get. Next season starts the McMing dynasty.
I cannot root for any other team, my apathy for them stops me. My wish is now for many elbows to the face (namely to the faces of Flopu Ginobili, Dork No-nutski, Michael "I am old but I think I'm still a bad@ss" Finley, Steve "weakest MVP and I know it" Nash) and for them to all beat each other up to a pulp...all the while playing good playoff games just in case I get bored and have to watch their games, cuz I can't stand crappy games. F the Spers, especially all the bandwagoning "Yay, we have something else to talk about and be proud of other then the Alamo and Riverwalk ad nauseum talk" Spers fans. When the Duncan era is over, they will crawl back under the Alamo until they tank for the next great player. Hopefully when they tank, it will be a weak Kwame Brown as the first pick type of draft, but it seems they'll be savvy enough to tank when there is a once in a lifetime type of player available. Can't help drinking the Haterade right now, only way to get rid of the bitter taste.
On a side note, only 27% of people would want Bob Horry taking the last shot for the Spurs (should it come down to a buzzer beater). Just sad, Horry is pure clutch, better than Duncan or Ginobilli when the game is on the line
Wow, Ginobili's tough. Took a flagrant from the thug Fortson and just popped-up on his feet. Can't stand fortson.
Beno Udrih threw up a horrible shot with seconds still on the clock at the end of the third quarter in Game 3, and as ESPN panned the Spurs bench while going into the timeout, Rasho Neterovic made a 'yikes' face that made me spit out my Skittles. It wasn't a "wow, what a bad shot" face, rather, it was more a "whoa, Beno's about to get a whipping from Pop, a whippin' I know all too well" face. Ok, not that funny, but I had to share. I rewound on Tivo and watched it five more times because it was so funny.
I hate Musberger, but man, gotta love this: (about Ginobili): "And that was your classic flop right there." And of course the Seattle fans exploiting ESPN's great in-arena mics (bull****...bull****).
i have no respect for ginobli after that flop of the century. That was the most ridiculous thing ever. Luckily the ref got it right this time.
You're certainly not the only one around here, but why? Other than keeping Robinson sidelined so they could get Duncan (and that was a while ago), they never did much to bother me.
