Manchester United are the biggest Sports orginization in the world, followed by Chelsea.

I think you are the one raging about NOLA for no reason. Peja, David West, and CP3 are far from thugs. I think New Orleans fans could enjoy some success, just like Houston fans could. Since your a Spurs fan, just enjoy what you can. I personally will not get any joy out of the Spurs winning.

Hey, you challenging my fandom???? (or however the commercial goes).

So you would rather cheer for the Hornets, who have a player (Paul) that basically called our starting PG a biach on national TV....then the Spurs, who happen to have Robert Horry on their team (since you mention the early 90's), and no other Spur player from that timespan? Ok.......

SA has been kicking our butts for years but I never recall them acting like asses when they did it.

Edit: And maybe it's just me, but I don't think 99% of the males in this country care whether or not someone respects why they cheer for a certain team. Just throwing it out there...for the "true fan" crowd....

have you been to san antonio?
have you been to their arena? any of them? hemisfair, alamodome, or at&t center?

they all suck. the highway system there sucks. there's 5 exits for the same road and if you miss the right exit, you end up in the hood.

when your friend in san antonio tells you the best way to get to their place is to cut through an office max parking lot cause its faster than driving on the street, you know that town sucks.

if you go there to the arena and you know they are using HEB hotdogs and you pay $5 for them, you know it sucks.

SA has not kicked our butts at all since TMAC has been here. That's 4 years of good regular season games. I feel like I'm on a Spurs fan board here.

That's obvously a flawed statistic. Just go to Chicago, Boston, the Bay Area, Philly, North Carolina, or even the Mid Atlantic.

So if I go to any of those playes, the majority of people will care that you or someone else cares why they root for whoever they root for?

So I guess by your viewpoint you like the fact that we're getting our butts kicked, or everyone in the NBA is getting their butts kicked, since your a closet die hard Spurs fan.

I actually like the city of San Antonio alot. But I just look at the Spurs as a true division rival that needs no more success. Just as a Sox fan was feeling in 2000 about the Yankees. Bostonians go to NYC all the time to visit.

My viewpoint is that IF my Rocket's can't win it, then I'm happy that a former Rocket (and still my fav player of all-time...Horry) can. But you go ahead and continue to root for Paul, the man that basically called us a hoe...

Yes....I AM A CLOSET DIE HARD, FORMER DAVID ROBINSON LOVING, WISH I COULD LIVE IN SA SPUR FAN because you say so. Heavens no....what will I do now that you think I love me some Spurs. Oh Lordy, what is I to do. My life is over now that my Rocket fandom is not appreciated by tanviraman. ;)
