Looks like Hamels made the right choice. Even if the Astros make the ALCS no way they beat the Rangers the way they're playing. They look like a team of destiny right now.
So did the Royals in winning their first 8 playoff games last year. And then they lost the World Series. There are no teams of destiny.
DDJ doing work again early, leadoff 2-strike double, advances on groundball, beats throw home on a grounder to 1B
No way in hell I want the Rangers winning the World Series this year. I rather cheer for the Cubs, Mets or Dodgers to to win it.
If it's a Rangers-Cubs World Series (it won't be), I may actually not watch any of it for the first time in ?years
The team that took a 2-0 lead home for two games, which they promptly lost, looks like a team of destiny to you?....
I know were supposed to feel a certain type of way against the Cubs but I dont. Lowkey hope they go all the way (if Astros are home by then) which I dont hope it happens^^
For various reasons, I hate them more than I probably should I guess. Never seen this one before, DDJ squares up to bunt, up and in fastball, he fouls it off and the bat hits him right in the jaw.
I'm certainly conflicted. If we win, I want the Rangers. If we lose, I want Toronto to take it. I'm going to take the optimistic viewpoint right now and root for the Rangers to beat Toronto right now. As if it makes any difference
This little munchkin from Duke can deal (I thought he looked small, had to look it up and they have him listed at 5'9", 180), saw him for the first time earlier this series and was impressed. Stroman blew his knee out in spring training so he's only made a handful of starts this year. Had a great rookie year last year, very promising young pitcher.
Huge swing in the last 2 batters. Jays 2B saves a run with a great play, Encarnacion leads off the bottom of the inning with an absolute moonshot to tie it at 2.
Dale Scott not knowing the rules and potentially screwing up in a huge moment should surprise nobody.
