    Where 5 way ties happen

    Where meaningless seedings happen

Where 10 games below 500 make the playoffs happen ...in the east.

although if we somehow end up with 1st seed. i will bump that thread with more satisfaction then ever done anything else on this board. (i made a thread that said we would have the #1 seed a couple months ago)

it's really simple....if we win out, we're gonna be the 1 seed. no will lose another and so will sa.

and if you're being really optimistic....if we beat utah monday, we're gonna win the 1 seed (although i'm nervous about tomorrow).

man, what a miracle that would be.

i knew that kings game a few weeks ago would probabaly end up being very costly.

The biggest beneficiary from the Kings win is the Lakers. Now, they are No. 1. If they will win vs Spurs tommorrow, they will have only one home game left vs the Kings. Look good for the Lakers.

I felt sorry for the Golden State, If they were in the East, then the 47 wins Warriors will be in for the 4th playoff spot.

Fine with me if they get the number 1 seed, we own the tiebreaker with them.....just win all 3 games and if the Lakers do the same we would essentially own Homecourt advantage all through the playoffs.....

Rockets really need the Lakers to win that game. Rockets have TB over LA, but not SA.

Isn't this amazing? I love knowing that we control our own future. We win out, the #1 is our's (well, sorta). Incredible for a team that everybody refuses to validate or respect.

If we want the 1 seed we need both NO and SA to lose at least one game. And we have to win out.

im so excited and nervous about this. on one hand i want to the rockets to get as high as they can, but on the other hand i absolutely do not want to end up with a tougher match in the first round just so we can all feel good about being a high seed.

idk, all this time i have just figured we would finish matched up with utah, and that may be our best chance (other than 1st) to advance, now we may move up and end up having to play Dallas or PHX , and that scares the crap out of me. i just couldn't take another loss to the mavs in a series... :(
and i just dont think we can hold down PHX for 4 games like we did the other night.

me personally, I am rooting for the Spurs to beat the Lakers tomorrow...

if the rockets beat denver and spurs beat lakers, we can then win out and rely on the Kings, OR the Jazz to beat the Spurs just one time...

essentially, it is pulling for the Kings at home against the Spurs, versus the Kings playing in L.A. on the last day of the season with the #1 seed on the line for the Lakers...

no matter what, I am on the Kings bandwagon until the season's over!

Quit dwelling on the Sacramento loss. There is nothing that can be done about it now. There are plenty of other losses you could look at throughout the season and say the same thing.
