A_3PO, you exposed yourself bigtime. As for all three above posts, I agree with most. There is no earthy way the Spurs should be favored over the Mavs. The Mavs beat them through athleticism in the guards and forwards, yet every key Sper outside TP is one the downside of their peak (and their athleticism is dropping further quickley), their forward additions are old/unathletic (Bonner, Williams), and now they are even softer in the interior past Duncan (new centers make Nazr & Rasha look like all-star fixtures). While the Mavs and Spurs were pretty close to dead even last year, the Mavs did beat them on the road in playoff time, and everything suggests the descrepency between the teams should widen in the Mavs favor. Obviously if they picked the Spurs ahead of the Mavs and Heat they must have.
