I'd only get involved if, say, we lost one of our redundant power forwards and got back a player we needed. Meaning, using Glenn Robinson's expiring contract in a 3-team trade.

Actually playing on the Rockets? No.

Glenn Robinson is one of the biggest black holes the NBA has ever seen.

    It should go like this:

Big Dog: "Hey Rockets, you know what you're gonna git wit da Dog"

Rockets: "Yes Glenn. Yes we do..."

that could be a great team. then we would just need a real leader like isiah rider and we could start counting the championships.

If he's taking howards spot then he might be perfect. He can come off the bench 25 minutes a night and fill it up. He's also an underrated rebounder and he could definitely open up the floor for Yao. he's a headcase but a proven prolific scorer is not a bad asset.

I admit being tempted by the idea of having him with our weak SF spot, but I think he won't like to come off the bench or defer to T-Mac or Yao. I would pass up on him.

yea, I think the ONLY way I consider him, is if we were to get Samuel Dalembert in the deal as well. But, again, that is the ONLY way.

As good as the guy is, and no doubt, he can play, he is not a fit for this team. Like MoT, he could be what the Bobcats build their offense around.

Unfortunately, there are very few players that score a lot that also play defense. He falls into that category. If there was no TMac, then he would be worth a shot. Unfortunately, unless we start playing with more than one ball, there just wouldn't be enough shots to go around. And Robinson needs shots.

Now THERE is an idea. They could change the game by having TWO balls on the court at the same time. Boy, wouldn't that be a trip to watch!!!!

Glenn Robinson is a scorer, and we have enough of them. I think we need an athletic role player. A guy that hustles and can "jump out of the gym."
