Obama's already spoken about his semi-racist "white" grandmother and he's used her as an example when talking about race... Why is anybody surprised about what Beck said? Does anybody doubt Obama is probably partial to blacks (i.e. Professor Gates)? What's surprising about this that he sided with a black friend of his over a police officer doing his job? Why is this shocking?
You may think it's stupid but I think Obama did what he had to do when his black, crazy, Professor friend got himself in trouble...I don't see what's so controversial about saying that? People may not want to say what they're thinking, but at least I will.

Ratings...hiring is based on ratings...it's what wrong with cable and most television news...news is skewed and funneled through people who can present it in the way they want...for ratings... For easily has the highest ratings in cable news... Ratings = money

Good lord! Is that what the "birther" thread is about? I assumed it was some bizarro "life... pro, con, and indifferent... what does LOVE have to do with it?" fight. Bizarre is the nicest thing someone could say about it. The Dead-Enders of the GOP have reached a new low. Just when everyone, except them, thought that was impossible. (Not that it relates to this, other than being a tad politically related, I suppose, but I saw Chubby Checker about a week ago in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and he's still got it! I was amazed. I don't know what that was on top of his head. Guess it was supposed to be hair, lol! Dee Dee Sharp and The Soul Survivors performed as well, and were terrific. Patti LaBelle, on the other hand, was upstaged by a guy from the audience, one of 4 invited up to the stage to sing and dance. The audience had the museum all to themselves and that is one kick-a$$ museum! )
