So that's a 'no' then. Though I guess I could have guessed as much. I can see why those dudes appeal to you. ....Larry King....hahahahaha.....
FEMA camps have been being built for over a decade (I believe Halliburton won the contract to build them, lol), Beck is either participating in psy-ops, or just doesn't know the facts. The fact that mainstream media doesn't talk about them, or that Obama hasn't made any mention of getting rid of them is evidence enough in itself that a red flag is afoot. If everything about them is 'ok', why does the MSM never mention them? The fact is that the government secretly creates the solution for years, then presents us with the problem (created by them), followed by the solution (which has been created long ago). Sad that so few people are aware. Do you really think the ~1400 page Patriot act took only a few weeks to write up after 9/11? And that it's a coincidence that no one who voted on it had sufficient time to read it?
Are you saying that 9/11 was orchestrated by the government? If so, could you present the single best piece of evidence you have for this incredible claim?
Yes, and I'd like to add a requirement of Red Chocolate's response... No quotes by Rosie O'Donnell. Thanks
i threw out all my welch's grape juice and garlique after 9/11. what have you done for this country i just love so damn much? (wiping away tears)
Well, of course not - because that **** is insane. Bzzzzzzzt. Wrong answer. Now you look insane - comparing some goofy ranting liberal elitists with someone claiming the existence of secret concentrations camps for an undefinable group of people known as "conservatives"?!!?! Perhaps that's why you decided to say "Nowhere did I say whether I backed what Glenn Beck said was true or not." instead of "damn that guy is mother****ing nuts!" Sorry OddsOn, there is really only one appropriate answer here, and it ain't a silly comparison between Beck's lunacy and Larry King's boring schtick.
You are entitled to your opinions whether they are misguided or not. One thing to mention though, there are plenty of things that have happened in the past where people at first thought it would never be possible, or it was insane to think that. Only to find out later on that it indeed was true. Several examples that come to mind were the Nazi concentration camps in WWII and the the execution of 10s of millions of Russians by a ruthless dictator. A third one that is more recent would be the overthrow of Cuba by Castro. Or how about the Chinese re-education camps imposed by Mao. So I don't know if Glenn is pulling a Jerry Springer moment or has some validity to his rants but in the immortal words of Ronald Reagan.. "Trust but verify!"
so, this administration is planning on rounding all conservatives into concentration camps, yet they're going to continue to let glenn beck tell the sheep who watch fox news that they're doing this? call me when glenn beck goes missing...until then keep your crazy to yourself.
If you are insane, insanity looks like sanity to you. I think you need to check yourself back in for a while.
OddsOn is off his meds. One of the many really great things about the next 8 years is going to be watching the wingtards froth at the mouth as they are whipped into a frenzy when every popular, reasoned, moderate move by the Obama Administration is met with screams of "Socialism", "Mao", "Communism", "Lenin" by the Becks and Limbaughs.
This has less to do with the current administration potentially rounding up hundreds of thousands of its political enemies, and more to do with Beck's current lousy timeslot (5/4c). As referenced by Superstar above (this is a slightly different version): "He's going to be calling us from the fear chamber!" "It's the biggest thing ever to happen here!" "He is the greatest star of all time!" If he had O'Reilly's current timeslot/contract, I'm sure Beck could begin to settle his schtick down and stop going for ratings. "He will be joining us from his fear chamber directly!" "We are here to celebrate, worship, and adore."
Keith Olberman should have stayed on ESPN making funny quips about unbelievable plays. Now he just looks like an angry, bitter middle aged man. He is a svelt Chris Matthews.
When i saw a clip of this guy o the daily show i thought he was just some idiot that wasn't part of a major network. But i gues I was wrong. OddsOn are you trying to be as absurd as T_J, Bigtexx and Basso? Why are there so little conservatives on this board that actually want to have a normal discussion. And not just try to make as many stupid comments as possible. I know they do excist I talk to them regularly. But for some reason they are nowhere to be found on this board.
Aren't you paying attention? They are in re-education camps learning about evolution, accepting gay people as human beings, and of course, how to fist-bump.
You want to trust but verify that Obama isn't setting up secret concentration camps to lock up conservatives? Leading up to the election, your posting of an amalgamation of conspiracy theory nonsense from various obscure internet sources was just very bizarre but you said you were cured... and now this?
Beck is another desperate conservative TV personality who is just trying to stay relevant during Obama's presidency. I doubt that he really believes in what he claims on TV or on Faux News. He's probably just trying to draw in viewers by shock value...or he's been reading the National Enquirer too much lately. This, too, will pass.
I remember Tom Green appearing on the Dennis Miller show, long time ago. Miller, paraphrasing, said: "You know, most people who do the crazy guy act, you can tell in their eyes that they're in on the gag, that they're just doing a schtick. With you, I'm not so sure." Next time you're in the bookstore and need a laugh, check out how god-awful Beck's The Christmas Sweater is. You can't fake the awfulness of that kind of writing. Then check out the 9 principles, the 12 bargains, and the Tammy Faye Baker mascara-running, shameless aping of the day-after of our own national nightmare: "I'm sorry, I just love my country, and I fear for it." "Pull away the curtain, and you'll realize, that they're isn't anybody there." "They don't surround us! We surround them!" Time taught us Tom Green was indeed an act. And I believe Beck is just doing his particular schtick, too. But, if nothing else, it's a pretty good act.
