My quote wasnt even directed to you, it was directed to the people who make excuses for yao when he does something wrong, but when other players dont have such good games they make dumba** posts like this one right here.

You also have a lot to learn, people who sit here and say rudy sucks or he made a bad mistake just sound ignorant. Your going to it here and tell a coach how he should have done his job?

Why does this always have to be a Blame blah blah blah after every loss.

You want a true team loss - this game is it.

The Knicks made the key plays down the stretch and we didnt. Simple as that.

Yao played great but had turnovers.
Steve played awesome. You could tell he was in pain but gutted it out.
Cat was great in the first half but couldnt buy a basket in the 2nd half.

And Glen Rice's defense was piss poor down the stretch but he shouldnt have been in there in the first place.

Big deal. We lost. New York just made the plays and we didnt.

Yeah yeah!!! When I see these kinda posts I picture a little high schooler sitting on his computer... You were blaming the whole loss on Ming, read your post!! All I was saying was that the whole team lost this and not just Yao.. If you don't like Yao then bash all you want thats what this site is for...but he wasn't the only one out there making mistakes!!

Can you not read!! Read all the posts man!! Rice guarding Spree in the end with Posey on the bench. This thread is about how bad Rice is not Yao...And I don't need to learn anything I've been a Roxs fan since 1980 way before Rudy-T was a coach... If you think Rudy coached a great game tonight then lets squash this because I come to this site to relieve my stress after a game not to fight!!

You really do sound ignorant, you've taken my post and turned it all around, im not blaming yao, I know basketball and I know it wasnt only yao ming fault that the rox lost, there were plenty of mistakes that caused the rockets the game they should have never been in that close of a game.

I understand what this thread was about, but the yao ming posts started coming in from the 5th post, so i had to put my 2 cents in.

Thats fair!! We are all frustrated Roxs fans here and we just want to win. I agree Ming messed up but so did some other Roxs. Putting your 2-cents in is good, like I said thats what this BBS id for.If everybody agreed with each other then there would be no reason for this site.I apologize for any misunderstandings, I just hate losing :)

Steve is still in pain. We can't afford to have him not on the floor but if he is hurting too much he will have to sit out for a while until he is better.

Posey was getting absolutely torched by Houston in the first half, even the Knicks announcers alluded to this. I don't think having Posey out there would have mattered very much.

We lost this game because our role players (Posey, Rice, Griffin, Taylor) didn't do their duty. With of the exception of Posey's 3's (finally he hit one), the Rockets were playing three against five all night long.

Oh well. Some people will come up with anything to turn every loss into Rudy's fault.

i agree with the original poster to a certain degree. Glen Rice is really pathetic when they match him up with Sprewell, Anderson or Houston. It is painful to watch as they blow by him to hit open jumpers or pass to wide open shooters as the whole Rocket team has to come to his defensive help.

He is only of use when the other teams double Yao Ming and allow him wide open jumpers which is about all he can do.

Rudy should have taken Glen out in crunch time.

If you want to talk about the game, go to the Game Thread. If you want to talk about how much Glen Rice sucks, this thread appears to be it for today.

Let's try to stay on topic. :)

I watched the Knicks feed and never heard anything about Posey being torched. Allen Houston had 9 opening quarter points but 2 were on a set play at the opening of the game and two were at the FT line when there was no help rotation from the 3pt line.

Houston had 6 in Q2...4 on Mobley and 2 FT's from a Posey foul on the Knicks last possession.

But your right... a total team loss.

Nobody brings up the "Rice sucks!" threads when he's draining the 3's. I'll agree that Rice has severe limitations. But he's definitely useful when he's on. Luckily, we have Posey for when he's not hot.
