Uh, even I'm not sure where I'm going with this, but I'd say the Spurs won because of excellent defense, not with an uptempo offense. Most of the time their opponent was recovering off a block or bad brick off a low shot clock, and the Spurs were heading in the other direction. Spurs points came mainly when they had their three point shooters going (Bowen and Jackson and Ginobili all stood out at different times) and off Duncan double teams. They didn't really 'run-and-gun' like the Mavs do. (Although Parker did a solid job of getting to the basket time and time again.)
