Lol. Even if every move they made this summer is a bust, there have been so many worse seasons than where we’re at now. We’ve lived through major acquisitions like Matt Maloney, Kelvin Cato, Stromile Swift, and Ty Lawson. I think this will be ok. I mean just 2 years ago we were talking about the WOW factor, and Kelly Olynyk was by far our best player. Things are looking up, chill out.
I've gotta admit, the moves by the Rockets are so embarrassingly, hilariously bad that they have actually put me in a really good mood. I'm not going to stop laughing about that Brooks deal for a LONG time.
Except that the reason he didn't get on the sub in the first was because he read in the newspaper that it had screen doors.
Morey will probably have to pretend to care about his family again in order to get out of his contract in Philly when that team collapses just like he did here.
I think unquestionably we are. Like someone else pointed out earlier in another thread, 4/5ths of our starting lineup last season were in the bottom 20 in the entire league in adjusted TS added out of 539 players. It's going to be a laugh riot.
Maybe Ime thinks starting the new players with those bottom 20 starters of last year now coming off the bench will add up to 40 wins?
Do I -love- the Brooks deal? No. Do I wish FVV didn't get a 3rd year? Yes. But my word...I really...really...wish some of these guys that we are parting with were as good as some of you view them as.
Your fandom was tied to TyTy Washington, KJ Martin, Garuba, and Josh Christopher? And I ain't the sharpest knife in the drawer but wouldn't you want a 180 degree turn when your team had the worst record 3 years running? Your math ain't mathing..
