Dude you are one shallow human being. At least come up with your own insult based off the name of a special needs baby if you're going to be an insensitive ass>

Answer the question; how do you know who Jeff is unless you have some history with the board.

    who are you?

The biggest thing in health care right now that would help with Autism is the public option. That would allow people to see physicians early on, and have a better chance at early diagnosis and intervention who currently don't have insurance and only see a physician in the case of an emergency.

Also the facts you produce are incorrect at least for Los Angeles schools. Depending on the functionality of the child with Autism it is entirely possible to get a one on one aid. I see it all the time. Furthermore that aid works with that child each year of their schooling. They stay with the child through all grades.

Remember when Palin vetoed $275,000 for Special Olympics funding?

I remember when I talked to the one and only Gerry Cavanaugh. He told me that when people piss on understanding of satire, they piss on the ability to have a meaningful discussion where satire was ever used. I thanked Gerry Cavanaugh for opening my eyes to the huge loophole in people's basic understanding of satire.

He didn't say it to be mean, he said the same would be true of a Republican or Democrat. He spoke very favorably of Ted Kennedy and his ability to understand satire.

I'll never forget the day I actually got to meet with Gerry Cavanaugh.

That's how I spent my summer vacation.

You don't comprehend very well do you? People with insurance are struggling right now.

The difference between you and Obama is that when Obama made insentive comments toward special needs kids his friends told him to stfu and apologize.

Your use of satire is noted in regard to Cavanaugh. It was stupid thought. But stupidity is all you have.

I will update you guys with the reply from los angeles school district on their opinion of tje phrase that was used here and if it is appropriate for a teacher to use for any reason. I will e-mail a few others in that area to get a concensus.

Thanks for guiding me in the right direction. See we can work together.

    You’re a loon

I see it took you a while to come up with some type of plausible response.

The herd has its eye on you...

i have a family member w/ downs syndrome and i still think basso is a douche who is using palin's kid as a political prop.

sam may or may not be a douche too, but his comment was clearly made in mockery of basso, not in mockery of the mentally handicapped.

you think the internets are real life.

Like I said you could come here and watch me talk about it in person and use the exact phrase in the same context. Let me know who you e-mail, and I'll email them and ask about how teach our children satire to aid their reading comprehension so they don't end up with the same deficits you have.

Ramon Cortinez is the super intendant of LAUSD in case that will help in your search.

Please point to one insensitive comment I ever made regarding special needs children. I didn't say one thing. I didn't make any special olympics jokes, use any form of the word r****ded, or anything even close to that.

Please point to the post where I did, or said any comment about special needs populations that was in any way insensitive.

I will make a tip jar bet of $20 that you can't find one. Take the bet. All I did was voice my opinion on satire.

Not only do you not understand satire, you don't understand that the phrases you are upset about never came from me.

He looked into your heart and saw your mitral valve of your left ventricle mouth the words. It was then that he understood how lost you were. Knowing you were beyond hope and super lost, he then typed about 500 words trying to help you.

I looked into their hearts, saw what was brewing and then my heart had tricuspid valve regurgitation.

That makes the second time that you have forged my name on comments that I did not make. You really need to stop the deceitful tactics that you are imploring against me.

I followed McMark's lead using the word son in a post. Since he is a supporter of yours in this dumb tactic that you are using, you might want to re-think that one.

Ask someone to explain the reason that you look like an idiot for trying to attribute the second quote to me. You will have to look hard for assistance, most of them are no smarter than you are.

I know that you feel sorry that your friends are getting roughed up and you desperately want to help them. Blantantly forging my name on to those comments is undermining your own efforts.

    "That just happened!"

My apologies, I should have used Sam's name. You vehemently supporting for Sam for doing it does make you insensitive though.

Don't quite understand the outrage since you so strongly approve of the way he used it.

Please comment on the other handicapped slurs and insensitive comments that have been hurled in this thread.

I was upset that a teacher would validate that garbage.

    Sorry for the mistake.

I will meet you at the Ability Camp for special needs kids that the Texans put on in the offseason provided you walk around in a shirt with that phrase you used written in big letters.
