he is 25 years old and still working on some aspects of his game. I say we offer him a contract but if it fails just take camby or offer mcgee some $

why Hibbert would sign with us ? he's the starting C of a good playoff team ... i could see us ending with Asik who's a sub, it would make sense for him and us (he'd start, we get our defensive C), but not Hibbert who have nothing to gain here (but i'd love 2 c him in a rox uni btw)

    simple answer: money
I honestly think Hibbert has to be a little upset with the team for not utilizing him enough against MIA, and for most part of the year

Beasley and Batum are better than role players and so are hibbert and McGee. They are definite improvements for our team.

The reason RH would sign here is if we offer him more money! Same with McGee, I just think Asik defensively is good but he has zero offensive game!

Improvements? Yes. Help us for our long term goal? Not really. We are a rebuilding team with more talented guys on the roster than we can use. We don't need players that are better, we only need players that would make a real difference. Beasley and Batum would help us fight for the 8th spot - letting our young guys develope might mean a losing season, but it would help our future tremendously. Our only real hole in the roster is a C, preferably a young one. So go after the best C available, use Martin and Scola, maybe even PPat and Jones to trade for one of the best. Maybe Noah, maybe a sign and trade for Hibbert, maybe Bynum or somebody else...

I don't think it is fair to Hibbert. The Pacers are a mess right now their offense is worse than ours & that is saying something.

People saw him beat up a very small Miami front-line and overrated him badly.

Hibbert is being cured by the Wizards as we speak. He is off to a great start 3 for 3, 2 assists & a block.

I've noticed that. At least we have Harden and some of our guys can run the PnR. The Pacers offense is just hot garbage.

hmmmm..... guess whose stat line this is-

    MPG 32.7
    FG% 0.476
    FT%0.667
    REB12.80
    APG 1.1
    BPG 1.10
    TO 3.40
    PPG 10.8

    Salary= 3 years 8.3 mil per

Its still early in the season, but the early signs are that Morey got a steal in Asik. If the center position still existed for All-Star votes, I would have to say that Asik should be getting serious consideration.
