That's a talented group that can grow into better players. Reminds me of Denver, but better in the long term. Lamb has a Rip Hamilton like ceiling, Motie has a P. Gasol ceiling, and Hibbert is currently an all-star caliber player.

I doubt he's worth that but even if we offered that a really doubt Indy lets him go

During interviews with our brass, he was told he would get sent down to the D-League if we drafted him. Said that was his motivation to work hard and get better. But MONEY TALKS. Throw a Max deal at him, see if he bites. Worst case, we strike out and go for Asik.

I would love for the Rockets to throw big money at Hibbert and put Indy in the hot seat. Hibbert has gotten better each year and i think with McHale coaching him, his skills can get better and gives us a legit big man to control the paint.

If Morey can get him to sign here and Indy doesn't match, i would try to make this team as big as possible and go after Pau Gasol, even tho many of us (me included) aren't big fans.

Would be nice to have 2 7-footers in the lineup. Defense immediately better if we can put the lineup below on the court. Defense immediately improved and offensively, wouldnt take a huge hit, if at all..

    Dragic
    Lee
    Parsons
    Pau
    Hibbert

I think we'd be early season favorites for the SW division - as long as Dallas doesnt some how end up with Dwight and DWill..

Sign Hibbert, S n T for Asik. Turn a weakness into a strength.

Indy will match any offer. Hibbert is a top 10 center, which means he gets the max whether he deserves it or not.

Feigen: Rockets won't offer the max.

The top free-agent center is a restricted free agent. It might take a max contract for the Pacers to think twice about matching, but the Rockets won’t go that far.

50 million over 4 years for something other than a 6'9" forward? Why is that even a question?

Get Hibbert and JaVale McGee, heck gin as many 7fters as possible!!!

Why not? Its not like 7ft talented centers grow on trees. Unless they're really holding out for Howard they would be stupid not to offer Hibbert a max deal especially if we're trying to be a contender and not go the tanking route.

I agree. Silly to meet with Hibbert and offer anything but the max.

The only way we shouldnt offer Hibbert the max is if we think we have a shot at Howard. Heck, still offer Hibbert the max anyways. He's worth it.

    Then trade for Howard.

No team would score within 10 feet of the basket.

We should go after hibbert or McGee at center. I'll pass on Asik. Then I take Batum or Beasley at the SF. That would be a good off season to me!

Sure, it's too much. But necessary IF RH is the target (and I hope he is).

But, how to secure the deal from Indy's perspective? Lowry. A major upgrade from Collison. Plus IP's choice of 4s.

    I'm in.

If you think Hibbert can develop into a 18 pts and 10 rebs and 2 blks guy then why not.

Ill take Asik and pass on the other 2..reason why is because Indy and Den are most poised to re-sign and retain those guys, CHI not so much.. financially they have too many obligatins plus I believe Deng is up for a big payday if Im not mistaken, and they wana keep Taj Gibson, PLUS why would they want to pay starter money for a backup C? Omar isnt gettting the nod ahead of Noah unless hes traded and thats not happening

Omar Asik is the best chance, you go all in for a great defensive C

No to Batum or Beasley... We don't need more role players and we have our own talents. Let Parsons and White and maybe even Morris develope at SF. No reason to go after anyone here if he isn't a star.
