Calling your argument boring is not a straw man attack. Let me be clear, the first three points in your OP is pretty shallow imo, making it boring. But not as boring and shallow as your thread title.

You incorrectly calling "boring argument" a straw man attack shows two things:
    1) you just learned what that logical fallacy is recently from internet arguments probably, and
    2) you're getting defensive.

it's boring because I know I won't be able to discuss anything with you about possible other adjustments, what is working, what isn't and what could, because you're locked in and defensive. That's your style in D&D as well.

To you, this will just become a matter of right or wrong, and not talking basketball for the love the game, like we do in the Dish about the rest of what is going on in the NBA playoffs. I don't have to beat a more talented team to have fun talking bball and breaking down the games. Just hard to find interesting discussions about the Rockets around here after losses, for sure.

We aren't in agreement because you are saying "all I stated was the Spurs have figured out our offense" at the same time "they are more talented", and I'm saying beating us with more talent doesn't equate to "figuring us out". Specifically,

They haven't played us much differently than they did in the regular season games, which weren't close to being a formula for turning on a switch and beating us with some silver bullet formul. So these adjustments you talk about are lost on me. but I guess you're working off a much smaller sample than me, and less analysis of those earlier games

It's OK, the media is also working off a smaller sample, too.

IMO, They haven't figured anything more out other than how not to get blown out by 40pts. How to beat our defense and how to finally give our bench trouble.

When you make up my argument and then debate that and not what I am actually saying, yes that's a straw man.

They were not helping on drives they same way and are actively working to take away our interior game. Take away that and we become a one trick pony. Doesn't mean we can't still win. The spurs are basically betting that we can shoot night about from three in every game So take the rest away and their talent will win out in a 7 game series.

If you disagree with that assessment let's debate. Seems to me You would rather keep making character attacks and then go off when I don't agree with your psychoanalysis of me.

Truth is that I just rub you the wrong way and you don't see your own bias because of that. Just be honest

Pretty clear they didn't solve anything.

They made some adjustments that worked for one game.

The different pnrs we run are too deadly. Harden was also pushing up the pace a bit more so the Spurs defense couldn't get set as easily.

If the rockets make their shots they will win if the spurs make theirs they will win. Lets not over complicate things.
