This place would be so much better if we could ban fans of just one single player.

    This is a Rockets board.......ROCKETS !!!!!

Tell me about it, this stuff drives me nuts. I'm trying to enjoy the ROCKETS in the playoffs and instead I find a pissing match between people wanting to give credit to the win to only one player. Both of these camps are a-holes because they completely ignore the contributions of the rest of the team. Simply put, these douchebags are not Rockets fans.

That's just my rant, I think my next one will be about how I don't want to see stalker pics of Yao in his swim trunks.

    your posts contradict themselves.

You also forgot to add that Yao only takes jumpshots, is not aggressive, and doesn't like physical contact.

You sound worse than some Rox haters on realgm and ESPN. Cold Pizza needs to give you a call and replace Skip Bayless with you.

It is because this team build around TMAC, not YAO. Tmac is th eonly can can attack the hoop and draw attention away from YAO. When TMAC is down, no one else can help YAO getting away from double team--so equation is simple: let YAO loose in the first half, double him in the second and make him tired.. Very easy.

Imagine we have LJ, WADE, KOBE, Or even T.Paker...

I have put the guy, Blazer_ben on the Buddy list at least three time, but I still can see his post. What is the function for this? This board already becomes a joke with so many only fans, the good posters are shown up less and less.

This used to be a nice board with insightful and knowledgeable posts.

Lakers fans started to fight over who's more important after 3 straight championships. Dallas fans started to argue who's more responsible for the lost golden opportunity, after they lost in the NBA finals. And yet, we call them the worst fans. But hey, we only start to fight intensely over who contributed more for ONE SINGLE frigging playoff game on home court. Yeah, we are the greatest fans, and this is the greatest board.

We are all super defensive and sensitive. When someone said TMac won the game for us due to his great performance in the 2nd half, some fans had to jump out to criticize him intentionally downplaying Yao's effort. When some fans praised Yao for his "nondominant" 28-14 and good defense on Boozer, some fans can't be happy with that, but label them as YOFs. I am happy that both TMac and Yao don't care about this a bit, and both of them cheered for each other on and off court. They went hand in hand off the court after the win. They are hungry and want a lot more. But we, the self-claimed "best fans", are fighting over who should get more credit in a single win. Just shameful and disgusting.

I have never seen a player getting so much acclaim for scoring 16 points in a quarter after only scoring 1 point in the 1st half. All the media frenzy and TOF's are proclaiming his greatness. Be serious. He played below his average and redeemed himself in the second half. He only did what he should do and nothing spectacular. In fact he almost single handedly lost the game for rockets trying to prove to the world that this is his team as he stated in the interview with SA. Smith. Did you TOF praise Yao half as much when he scored 24 points in the fourth quarter against the Wizards. Obviously not, because TOFs have eyes only for what TMac does and other players contributions are completely ignored!!!!

I am sick of him saying I all the time instead of using we. Just watch Yao's interviews and you will see the contrast. What a breath of fresh air. And you know why the media criticize TMac for not getting out of the 1st round? Because he brags too much. Brag by all means but after you have accomplished your mission and not counting your chickens before they are hatched.

Can't agree more, disgusting indeed. I am sure Yao and Tmac will be embarrased by whoever "only fans", stupid, sensitive and yes, disgusting!!! We just won one game, we are supposed to worry about the next, worry about how Jerry Sloan will adjust, these "only fans" are really making the whole situation twisted to their sensitive nerves, we DONT need you here, if you want to cry, go somewhere else, this is a rocket's fan's board, we need basketball fans, we don't need you "only fans".

    DISGUSTING!!!

yeah Blazer is just a Yao hatah :D

j/k blazer's got criticism of Yao, as much as anyone ont his board. The whole labeling thing got old back in 2003. it's time everyone moved on and stop making soap operas out of everything.

I'm done. Yao deserves just as much if not more credit then tracy for keeping us in it. but obviously thats not enough for the YOF's liking here. they want us to bow down and lick yao's ass or something.

That doesnt stop you in favor of one player from the team. But I see nothing wrong with that.

the problem is we can't just ignore it. These kinds of threads always wind up with a couple of people making ludicrous statements that makes me so ticked I have to chime in.

Yes,that's the point! If we wanna win the second game to Jazz tomorrow,we need both.

Come on,stop arguing who is more important or who deserves to be given more praise. It takes five! It takes five! Rockets has a long way to go,remember this.
