3 yrs, worst record in the league, no franchise player, new coach running GM duties. fail. Ime will help us succeed. This thread will age badly.
So you're slow or just completely unaware how the tank process works. And no franchise player? Most our core is still very young, so declaring we have no franchise player before fully letting them prove themselves says you're just a Stone hater. There's a reason Udoka chose us over everybody else
Didn't you want that fat azz quitter Harden back? You wouldn't known what a good GM looks like anyway
Sure did. How you correlate that with a scrub fat idiot like nix is your own doing. You must relate to that aspect then says the guy who claims a 60 win team in 3 years is better than okc now. Lmfao. Foh. Agreeing with you is supposed to be the “right” side. Please. Don’t kid yourself. Making a dumbass thread like this just made it that much easier to snitch on yourself
Ok. Harden’s fat azz has literally quit everywhere he's gone & you'd take him back at max money? THIS is the type idiot fans criticizing Stone. The "60 win" team tanking after their star player quit on them. Just admit the tank Stone was behind worked & what he did in 3 years has taken other teams twice as long
The guy who leads his team into the postseason every single year he’s been in the league. Yeah that one. You know the opposite of being the worst and planning for Cancun by all star break. You’re the type of idiot fan as a whole. Spend 60 mil in cap and didn’t get a real star. Lmfao. And dumped assets for other teams to take his recent multiple 1st round picks. LOL There’s not much to brag about it working. They still suck and it sucked again. They never ended up with the top pick and this years was the worst one yet
The guy who leads his team to the postseason, quits, then demands a trade every year. Yeah im sure that'll be a great influence on a young team of 20yr olds. How stupid can one person be
NO U!!! Speaking of that, is this going to be one of those threads that you bump every time the Rockets win (so like 25 times this season)?
Yeah but you're doing the opposite. The rebuild isn't a success unless we have a big time all star, an all nba player, someone to take us on deep playoff runs and put us in the mix for a championship. Right now it's very possible that none of our guys ever become that or even come close to that. And until one of our guys has that kind of season combined with some team success (think Shai and OKC last year) I don't see how you can declare the rebuild a success or think Stone deserves any accolades. This is all very premature.
Yeah but at this point you won't know if these guys will be allstars because they're all still proving themselves. The rebuild is a success because Houston is finally an attractive spot. Stone clearly won the Harden trade when the consensus was we got fleeced. Can we both agree we won the Harden trade?
I swear the Stone defenders are basically by extension the tilman white knights. Gotta hype up stones shtty moves to take away that our cheap a$$ owner hired him to lead this rebuild. This year free agency has been awful
I was anti Simmons and applauded the trade for picks but…. He mismanaged the Lavert and Allen pieces. Per usual. There re soooo many examples of his terrible asset management. Stone is still Rookified as a GM. Presti and others just run circles around his incompetences as a negotiator and leader in general. Trash.
Yeah we won the Harden trade. And yeah I agree we don't know if those guys are all stars. That's what it will take before I will give Stone credit, when one of these guys (or hopefully multiple guys) that he drafted proves himself as a "best player on a championship team" type of guy.
