If we repeat the line long enough times, Blinebury may write another article in the Chron on the same subject! Last time he sure did after the game at Sacromento. And you know what, the next game against Spurs, Ming had his second monster game, 10-18 FG! He shot more than anybody else in the game!

It will be even better if we get the Rockets marketing department to change their slogan to "Give Ming the Damn Ball"...

Jerry West is also the same guy that said "I might take a gamble on him with the 6th or 7th pick"

Mark Cuban also said Ming should not even be the top 10 pick, until Ming slaped his face in his house with 30 points, 16 rebounds, and shattered Bradley's confidence all-over again.

I don't think Yao's stamina is good enough for the Rocket to throw it down to him every time they go down the floor. Remember he had to fight for position every time and I just don't think physically he is capable of doing this at this time. With time when his endurance and strength improve, then he can handle the load better. I do think that they should utilize him more than what they did for the past 2 games. The Rocket is just out of sync against the Clippers and you will get a few of those game during the year. The problem with the offense is there is no movement. Even if the offense doesn't go through Ming at time, with ball movement in the offense the Rocket should still able to get a good shot. Remember during the preseason when the ball was moving, the Rocket was getting a lot of good look. I don't think we should be one dimensional (like we was with Hakeem). I do think that the play should go through Yao at least half of the time though. During crunch time, I agree that we should go to Ming because he is a very smart basketball player and not likely to hurt the team in those circumstances. I think Rudy don't want to put too much pressure on Yao so that's why he had drawn up play for Yao in critical situation. So be patient because I think with time the Rocket will iron out their wrinkles when they realize that Yao is more than capable of performing during critical times.

yea, it seems like Hou. Chro. needs to repeatedly write articles about passing the damn ball to Yao before they realize that that is what they need to do to win the game. period....

Our guards have short attention spans, or at least they don't want to SHARE the attention.

I don't mind this thread, it rings of truth !!

So, is this a thread about how the Rockets can be more successful if Yao has more touches, or do you just want to see Yao get the ball each and every time?
