Sir you have greatly amused me. Congratulations.
What you're referring to is called "validating your poorly conceived contract". This sort of thing is common on very badly run teams. The validating would have been on Kupchak's head, except he somehow managed to turn Cook and Maurice Evans into Trevor Ariza (no clue how or why, that trade makes no sense for the Magic). The bright side is that Cook was put in strictly for salary matching and was not part of the actual trade. This makes Cook into what's known in business as a "sunk cost", at least for this year. For your convenience... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunk_cost

Precisely I'm studying a degree in economics.

Nice one, but, if you have an asset, try to approach it, end. You have nothing to lose and something to gain, because he's something different at his spot at what we have. This is to optimize your resources, and you would be the most benefited.

    * "A chance" is not 10 garbage minutes, a chance is a place on the rotation in a few games (depending on the opponent and game situations).

It's the exact opposite. Cook gets PT before Mutombo, as evidenced by the last game, and the few othe blowouts we had before.

I'd like to see him play more.

We have him for this year and the next so might as well see how much he can help us for next year.

He has the same quick release as Barry, just taller with no passing skills. Lord knows his presence can and will spread the wing giving Yao more room in the pain and he will probally provide the same defense that Scola or Landry brings.

Note I say probally due to the fact we are not certain how much he can provide within our system. We can only say for a certain he is a better 3 point shooter then most of our players.

If Brian Cook ever cracks the rotation we are in serious trouble.

Opportunity cost, having cook on the floor takes the opportunity away from of having Hayes on the floor to actually making a good defensive play and contribute to a team.
