i experienced the same thing. i'm an intern at a pharmacy 2 years ago and dated this technician. we hit it off when she volunteered to drive me to take some drug tests... as she had to run some errands. so i asked her how old she was and she said she was 24. we went out on a few dates and so on and whatever. and she did look that age (but makeup was deceiving). about a few weeks later, my pharmacist told me she was actually 29 going on 30 and i'm like WTF. it was a wrap after that.
