I hear what you're saying but we eat meat to live on. I don't condone how farm animals are treated but we're not talking about that. We're talking about a w**** throwing puppies in the river and getting a thrill out of it. You can't compare apples to oranges.

There's a reason why we have certain animals to eat. Killing animals altogether sucks. I know tons of folks that hunt. It's not my cup of tea. Do you eat meat? I surely hope you're a vegetarian with you trying to make this argument.
Well, there is lamb and veal among other babies we eat. Don't forget about male chicks that are routinely killed just for being males in poultry farms. So sometimes we do slaughter the cute ones too.
No, we only b**** about torturing and killing animals for pleasure. There's a difference between killing for food and killing for pleasure. HUGE difference, actually. Just like the difference between stopping life-support for someone terminally ill and murdering someone for their jewelry. There's a difference.
there's a difference between killing for food and killing for pleasure...but make no mistake - the lines are often blurred. as lil pun alluded to, tons of baby animals are incinerated or drowned every day for being the wrong gender, being too small, not living up to the standards of commercial meat production. to see what really happens in meat production facilities, you could watch countless documentaries on the subject. they're pretty brutal though - some of these workers really seem to enjoy torturing defenseless, frightened animals. ` i'm not trying to preach...just sayin that this happens often...just not to cute puppies. but piglets, calves, and chicks feel the same pain.
