He's one of the best players in the NBA, without a doubt. Gotta love his game. People always give him crap for flopping. IMO, he's just really good at several aspects of the game, including taking charges/flopping. He's a hard-nosed player that doesn't complain much, so I respect his game.
Not sure about hard-nosed, but yeah his nose is huge, and he needs to use some spray on Toupée. With that said, the Spurs suck and will be in the lotto in a few years in my opinion.
I give credit to players when its due. Ginobili is a great player and I respect his style. However, there's just something about devoted player support thats irritating and makes me turn on a player no matter what Its not the the player's performance its their following, similar to Vince Young and "Vince Fan"
Today, Manu spoke with jim rome about: * his passion for basketball and his committment to come off the bench to provide the spark that every team needs. * How tough the west is, hasn't seen anything like this in his 6 years. * respecting your enemies, every game is huge with the way things are. * His thoughts On gasol. http://media.switchpod.com//users/vladthegreat/manu.mp3

Where was the foul on Ginobili?
He is unreal. Would love to have him as a Rocket but here's to hoping we have our own Argentinean nightmare now with Louis
Gotta give respect where it's due. Ginobili is an incredible player. Taking flopping into account it's a 50% reduction. I think most people would love his game if it weren't for that...it's an abomination to the game.
People DO realize he doesn't get to the line that often (relative to other guys who score from the wing at the clip he does), and is not in the top 20 in the league in taking charges, right?
Point taken. My annoyance is at how 'fake' his flops are...I'm afraid he's inadvertently making it more and more acceptable to take soccer dives, which needs to stay out of the NBA. Granted many people exaggerate and he's not the only one, but I'd say he's the closest to FIFA-yellow-card acting.
Ginobili breaks Stephen Jackson's ankles. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/xjQ-OhcYVPw"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/xjQ-OhcYVPw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
After that clip, I have video evidence of exactly why I have Man Love for GINOBLI!! This is a Ginobli appreciation thread. Not a "point out Ginobli's flaws" thread. I appreciate Ginobli. j/k hes still awesome, though
I am very surprised this hasn't been posted in this thread yet. This is the first thing I think of when I think about Mr. Manu. <img src="http://www.spursdynasty.com/uploaded_images/manu_tiger-794868.jpg">
i would appreciate it alot more if ginobili tried to flop and someone really elbows him in the face real hard. :] god i would REALLY love that.
king flopper. you gotta love his crazy wild arm throwing "three" step drives to the basket that never gets called, move.
