Oh my God.......this is seriously too good.... Quite possibly the funniest post to ever grace Clutchfans.
Ugh, he's so cute, the broken english just adds to it. Seriously, he better take all of Morris minutes from now on.
Well I have been a fan of D-Mo for years. Watched the Polish league games along with HMMMMMMM. He is possibly the most important player in the Rockets organization besides Harden. That said I applaud the people pointing out his lack of a good base. Physically he could not really handle Odom tonight from a strength/balance perspective. But I can see why D-Mo is on the Rockets squad and Jones is in RGV. By next season he could be the best possible PF for the Rockets short of Kevin Love. But blocking out for a few years is going to be his Achilles heel.

The organization as taken a clear cut stance: Players are going to earn their minutes and contracts. No handouts.
Price =/= quality. Especially when it comes to Beats. Get that man some Grados. Or Audiotechnicas. Anyway, glad Donatas got some minutes. Hopefully we see him play more meaningful minutes after the All-Star break a la Carl Landry 2007.
It's pretty fukked up that Mchale would wait to be down by 5,000 p[oints to finally start playing the good players. hopefully we'll see T Jones, and White play in our next blowout (whenever they get back). Is Mchale our Rockets head coach? Or is he really an undercover spy for the Boston Celtics?
Awesome to see Dmo get some burn finally. Although he is better suited to play the PF spot. He has by far the best post moves of anyone on our team, he can get out on the break and finish in transition and he's got the range to stretch the floor and provide spacing (all of these are traits we need from our PF spot). His offensive skill set fits what we are trying to do perfectly. I think he will struggle defensively all year given his lack of strength, he was getting shoved around by Odom and would get bullied by bigger stronger PFs. I think he might struggle on the rebounding end too trying to box out etc atleast for now (but its not like we get any rebounding our of 2Pat or Morris). I hope we can bring in a back up Center and give this guy some legit time at the 4. Id love to see what he can do on the floor with Asik as well who could cover up some of his defensive mistakes. That being said im all for giving him back up center minutes for now since we're not getting anything from Aldrich

Guys, you have to understand it was one game, in primarily garbage minutes. D-Mo easily could have looked like a scrub if he played 20 minutes, so I don't want get kick MM to the curb yet. Don't get me wrong though, I'm not saying MM's spot in the rotation should be secured, when his shot isn't hot, he's practically useless, however he still might be better than D-Mo right now. However moving forward, I'd say D-Mo is in our future plans and MM isn't. What is there, like 2 more games before the trade deadline? I'd like to give D-Mo heavy minutes in those 2 specific games...why? Because if he looks like he's ready to play 10-15 minutes a night, I'd like to trade MM for a defensive-minded power-forward...ideally a Thomas Tyrus type (not saying I want TT, I definitely do not, but a player with similar style and length). Then D-Mo can also play some 5 when the new guy could make up for D-Mo's defensive deficiencies. Because let's face it, PPat and D-Mo on the court at the same time is scary bad at protecting the rim.
One thing nice about DMo's speed is he can beat his defender down the floor and establish deep post position before the defender can even react. I noticed this several times last night.
Yes, that was very encouraging. I hope that he will be able to establish position against bigger and more experienced players in the future.
This is why so many of us hope DMo doesn't get traded. He has a higher ceiling than any of our rookies. If he can get to 260lb with a stronger base/core by next season ... he should push for consistent minutes and perhaps even as a starter.
This...the ability to set deep in the post for a team like our that loves to run and get down the floor is a tremendous asset...Hopefully Mchale gives DMo a bit more PT(but knowing Mchale, he'll forget all about this game) The height of a 7 footer and ball skills of a small forward...is unique...we need to improve his strength and conditioning...(should train with JJ Watt...)
