So now that he admits he did it, and is trying to call it a joke, can they void his contract?

So, if his contract gets voided, do you think Daryl Morey will take a shot at acquiring him for cheap?

I don't know.....I mean Arenas doesn't exactly fit with the type of players they are looking for......

    Did you read the report?

Apparently he took three guns out and laid them on a chair and asked his teamate to pick one as a joke....

    Gilbert is a certifiable idiot.

Shoot, I hope not. He'd certainly add another offensive weapon to our arsenal but he gets a little trigger happy sometimes and would possibly blow up our team chemistry.

Hey, did y'all, did y'all hear that Daryl Morey got us Ron Artest last year?

He definitely would. He's on my fantasy team right now and I think he is the main reason for the Wizards underachieving . He jogs the ball up court, shoots a low percentage, doesn't play much D, and is turnover prone. His asts aren't impressive ones either since most of them come from dumping it off to a perimeter player.

I would rather have kept Donte Greene.

He is looking like a pretty decent player.

The funny thing about it, is that the Kings believe that Donte is the best perimeter defender on the team.

I never, EVER wanted Artest.........but I understood them taking a chance to get him.

I think Artest is a chemistry destroyer on teams that do not have a focuses leadership or weak leadership, like the Rockets last year.

Again, I would rather have a 6'11" 21 year old Wing....

That can shoot 3's and play defense!

Yup, When McGrady went down last year, we all knew that the trade was probably not the best idea. I think it was worth a shot, but like you said, Ron Artest can NOT be the best player on your team If you want to win a ring...

Not even the second best really...

And once they did not flip him at the deadline, I was even more dissappointed in the trade.....

It was a bad move overall, IMO.

    Certainly turned out that way.

But I wouldn't change it If I could... Great experience that I will never forget.

We were 1 game and a Mutombo away!!!

I disagree. I was pretty happy with how last season turned out, and I don't think that would have happened with a 21 year old bench warmer in place of Ron Artest.

I seriously doubt the Wizards will be able to void Arenas' contract. The Warriors had voided their contract with Latrell Sprewell after he choked his coach, only to have the contract restored in arbitration. And what Arenas did is no where close to what Sprewell did.
