I was going to post about how it was good Gilbert went off on the Lakers and beat them tonight. I turned the game off and did something else. Then I come back and Cook nailed the 3 pointer to send it into OT. What a game.

Arenas already took 25 foul shots. That is crazy. Glad to see he gives kobe a shot of his own medicine and the Lakers are gonna lose!

    wowww...

    arenas 60 points.
    kobe 45 points.

I guess stern's going to be happy to see all those box scores in the hundreds. And Kobe seems to be quickly moving towards last year's pace.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet, but Arenas sponsors one of the top Halo teams in whatever the pro gaming league is. I saw their show on USA showing the finals, and I see this guy sitting right behind one of the teams. I'm thinking "That's weird, the dude looks like Arenas." Seconds later the announcer mentions he's their sponsor. I'm not much of a Halo fan, but I am a big video game fan so I thought that was cool.

I remember going to the Golden State vs Rockets game back in the day, and this rookie GILBERT ARENAS kept scoring points on Steve. I was like damn, either Steve's D was bad or this dude was just money.

Man, Kobe is turning into a triple-double threat with Odom out, 45 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists. Arenas 60 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists. Talk about a high scoring game!

Gilbert Arenas definitely has to be on the all-star team this season.

After hitting the skids for about a 10 game stretch in November when the Wizards slumped big time, Gilbert has been smoking hot the last several games. The Magic have cooled off a bit and the Southeast division could be theirs assuming the Heat don't go on a roll later in the season. They just need to learn the concept of playing defense.

It hasn't happened for years, and it's not going to happen, and they really don't even need it to contend in the East.

I hope I don't sound like i'm jumping on the bandwagon but yeah I love Gilbert Arenas and it's crazy that you got to meet him.

Just for the record i've liked him since his GSW days since I live in the bay but I had never imagined he'd be that good. He's a fan favorite and he's one of mine.

He's really funny. One time when he was a rookie they forced him to go get donuts for the team and he was really pissed off because the donut shop was far from the practice gym and it was raining like crazy so he went to the donut shop, bought plenty of plain donuts (he was supposed to buy powdered sugar donuts, btw) and put baby powder on them instead. The first guy that took a bite probably wasn't too happy.

He also throws his jersey into the crowd if he's at home, which is real cool.

60 points tonight! I just love him showing up Kobe, even though it wasn't by much.

I feel sorry for the next guy that has to defend Kobe.

I love the guy but not the team.

I wish we had Arenas on this team.

Kudos to Gilbert.. Good thing he didn't drop that on us or else this forum would have exploded with rafer/tmac/bonzz/jvg trade talks

I agree it was nice seeing Kobe matched in his performance tonight by someone else. Can't stop those 3's once Gilbert puts on his robe and wizard hat.

He's been there the last two years.

Amazing stats, thanks for pointing that out. Gilbert said he didn't know he had 60 until a courtside reporter told him, and he looked genuinely surprised. Only saw overtime tonight, can't wait to watch the Tivo of it tomorrow.

Are you serious?? THAT IS A NO CLASS "SOMETHING UP MY ASS" MOVE BY DAVID STERN THEN.

I can understand the league's image is very fragile now and they don't need players throwing objects into the stands BUT if you're at home and the crowd LOVES it you should be able to!

I'M SURE THE JERSEY THROWING GIVES SOME INCENTIVE to buy the extremely expensive courtside/lower level seats. I hope he only loses money for this, that *******.

Do you know what he had to say about Paul Pierce's jersey whirling when he gets ejected or leaves the arena?

The Wizards. I love T-Mac and all, but Arenas is quickly becoming the most complete guard in the league.

I can remember when this BBS Forum shot me down when I suggested (a few years ago)that the Rockets shpold go after Gilbert Arenas. Don't say that I don't have an eye for talent. :p

If Arenas scored 60 for the Rockets you'd be crying about how Yao was open all night long.
