I read that (his agent said I think) he definitely won't go for a 1-year deal with GSW. There's too much risk involved. Imagine if he has a serious injury or something like that next season. He will lose a lot of $$$.

That's what his agent said when they were trying to pressure GS to clear cap room by dumping players at the trade deadline.

Now that the deadline is past, all the pressure in the world won't change what GS can offer Arenas. The only question is how much Denver will offer. And what's the only leverage Arenas & his agent can apply against the Nuggets? "If you don't offer us $X million, we'll sign a 1-year deal with the Warriors," of course.

Anything an agent says has a very limited shelf life corresponding to whatever will most enhance his client's market value at that moment in time.

DEN will not be the only one bidding IMO....the LAC will play in this game. And I seriously doubt that Arenas will turn down a 50M deal to sign for less at GSW!! 40M maybe..but, even that is a lot..no way he turns down anything 50M or over.
