That made me Sad. Gilbert is a pretty outgoing guy. He looks like hes been brainwashed. Clockwork Orange Style.

i'm glad i wasn't the only one thinking this, his eyes were pretty glazed.

i always liked gilbert as a player, it's upsetting to see him so depressed if that's the case. hopefully it's just a funk that will pass once he starts playing basketball again.

also i couldn't help but laugh at that sneaky photographer behind the curtain at 2:40.

 

This is like when Jerry Seinfeld was acting dark and subdued because George didn't want to be comically upstaged during his date with the Asian lawyer. No way that's the real Gilbert.

 

He's high as a kite, not depressed. Okay maybe he's depressed too, but his eyes are red as hell.

 

I'm pretty sure that this is just going to be his "act" when talking to the media. I read some comments from other Wizards players who say he's the same old Gilbert on the court behind closed doors (playing hard, making jokes, etc).
