I want that guy on my fantasy team . Also, I like reading his stuff because it is not sugar-coated...he might be an idiot sometimes, but he doesn't hold back...and seems to have a sense of humor (just read his blog). Kinda like Barkley.
Everyone complaining about Arenas needs to lighten up. The dude is just having fun, and I'm sure he cares about winning because he's obviously a competitor. You don't get as good as he is in basketball without caring about winning. Maybe he isn't as focused as some, but don't tell me he isn't a competitor. It's funny that people here criticize professional athletes so much for speaking their minds, as if waxing eloquently about team unity and purity of their desire for team success over personal achievements were part of their job. Anyways, I'm glad he's honest enough to let his personality out because I'd MUCH rather listen to his thoughts, however tactless or "unprofessional" they may be, than listen to cliches and coach-speak. Arenas is way more entertaining than Duncan. "Look at my competition. John Mayer? Who is he? Then you have Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump and that’s not fair because Donald talks about Rosie and Rosie talks about Donald...Wheaton is killing me. He has like 50 percent of the votes and I have like four percent. That is a disgrace. My NBA fans, we got to kick it in now. You’re talking about the integrity of basketball fans now when you let Star Trek people win. We can’t let Star Trek people win and we can’t let Donald O’Donnell win – they should be together. " How can you read that and not like the guy?
