The giants didn't uncover anything new, its the oldest formula in the book. Why u think new england has 3 1st rd picks on the d-line? Its the reason williams and okoye has been the teams 1st rd pcks.

I think a couple of veterans d-lineman will get cut. A. Brown and Kearse will be good cheap pickups. This is a good cb draft. Rb's are availible throughout the draft.

You're correct, if the BPA @ #18 was a WR, the Texans should pick BPA at a need. With Johnson, Walters, Davis and Daniels the Texans look good as far as their wideouts. However the team still has plenty of needs (DE. LB, DB, S, LT, RB) and depth. The reason why teams like the Giants and Patriots are so effective is because of the depth they have. The Giants had plenty of injuries this past season and were still able to compete due to their depth.

I disagree with this statement because the Texans made sure to take Boselli (whom they really thought would play) and Ryan Young from the Jets to be their bookend tackles to protect Carr. The Texans went with a veteran line and allowed Chester Pitts to start as a rookie (originally at guard) and then moved over to LT. The Texans do need to address the OL, but with Alex Gibbs in the fold, I think the Texans are more concerned with getting the technique of the ZBS down before looking to change personnel.

If Ryan Clady, Chris Williams or another good prospect is available at #18, then by all means if the Texans have him rated at the top of their board then draft him. But if Calais Campbell is still available, while a OL prospect is a available and they take the DE over the OL, I won't be mad because they took the player they felt that would help them more. I hope we address the OL this offseason, either by FA or draft.

By the way, thanks for the insight, its what makes the BBS great.

Most of the mocks I've seen have Quentin Groves going late first to mid second round.

I've heard Kearse is a shell of his former self. Has he succumbed to the injury bug?
