your kidding right? You act like it's a impossibility. Good teams have been doing exactly this in meaningful games in the past. Our big hitters, especially Hidalgo and Berkman, have come up small as usual. your more optimistic than me though.
OMG....I didn't realize it was an afternoon start and I look at the score and Ashos are blowing another one .
Nice double play Biggio..I can honestly say I called that one.....man...this guy is the absolute worst when it counts...
The first game Berkman misses a grand slam by a few feet to the right of the foul pole and now Everett misses tying the game by a few inches to the left of the foul pole.
The Astros may be doing us a favor. At least we won't have to watch them choke in the first series of the playoffs because their choking now.
I'm guessing you're not watching on tv....it was hit hard off the left field wall and bounced right to the left fielder...kent slid into 3rd...he would've been toast by about 5 seconds at home if he went for it.
I'm stuck in the office with only Yahoo sports!!! Keep these insights coming!! ...they still haven't updated what Jose did in his at-bat.
The single worst thing the Giants did was walk Hidalgo. Do they not know that he is not a clutch hitter when it counts. I'd pitch to doggy I don't care how hot he's been. He presses at the plate. Fortunately the Giants didn't know this. Yet they walk him, and give Viscaino, a guy who had won a World series game with the Yankess a chance to shine. (Game 1 of the 2000 world series) Great move by Jimy.
