It's good that he's 18. He's got that freak body. Much further ahead defensively. But that video probably showed every single positive highlight from his entire pre-season, free throws (half of his points) aside. He's got some work to do... but yeah, crazy potential.

Did you really just say that you saw a KD-esque stepback fallaway? KD has openly admitted that he does that move by copying Dirk. So I took the liberty of correcting your quote below.

Yeah definitely see a lot of Batum in him. He has a ways to go to be T-Mac or Durant. You just can't project that for a guy this raw, but I can definitely see Batum being an attainable goal to reach for. If he can get to that level in a couple of years, then you can maybe start trying to project some bigger things for him.

All you guys saying he's just a raw athlete and won't amount to anything, remember that he's only 18 years old. This guy could grow another inch and a good 50-60lbs over the next few years, while also developing his skills.

The fact that he managed to have that many sick highlights in just the preseason is pretty crazy though man

Exactly. He won't be a candidate for ROY but his long-term upside is enormous. Depends on how hard he works.

After this highlight reel, I bet a lot of people here will end up disappointed with his actual production as a rookie. It won't be much.

The human incarnation of the word, "potential." As a fan of both the NBA and Greek basketball I am very excited about this guy.

Did the Bucks plays only against Bulls and cavs or he only played 2 games.
If its only 2 games and you can get that type of highlights? It will be interesting.

So bucks now have Sanders!!! and now the "alphabet"? Defensive wise they are set for the next 10 years.

I definitely don't see Magic or KD. Not even close. This guy is just long and young, a bit awkward too. Great pick for where he went but he looks more Stromile Swift than Magic Johnson to me.

I'd trade the #1 pick in next years draft for this guy. I'm serious. He is freakin amazing.

We should trade Harden for him, judging by this thread this kid is apparently a KD-Dirk-Magic-Batum hybrid HOFer. CF has spoken.
