Wasn't Luka just traded months ago? 4 years? Technically, even if the Rockets were not in the sweepstakes

For the record, Giannis isn't even made available, they were just sort of listening to calls, that is all they were saying.

Giannis himself hasn't asked out or anything in that direction.....99% is media.

It was not publicly, but you heard the Timberwolves and some teams contacted Harrison.....or were contacted.

They sure listened to some, but yeah they were catfishing if that is the term for the Lakers.

While he might be gone from Milwaukee, folks should prepare themselves for trade deadline or anything later on.

A lot of the noises are due to the Draft coming up and reporters hyping rumors up......

Keep in mind that Milwaukee has Lillard to get rid of as well, if they blow things up and that takes time......

Honestly I would be stoked if we landed either of them. I just don’t believe our front office wants to give up what it’ll cost to nab them.

I can see them making a move but I don’t expect it to be as big of a splash.

We will be good if we can get any of them.

If Giannis was about to turn 25 he would be great. He is about to turn 31 and does everything he does with hyper athleticism. He has maybe 4 more prime years. We would spend most of that time and any remaining assets trying to put a team of shooters around him that he needs to win. We would end up with maybe a 1 or 2 year window at most. Alpi and Amen are 22 and about 3 years from entering their prime. Once they hit their prime we have a 10+ year window.

How many minutes can CP3 give us at this point? Defensively, would he be a major liability?

he's def worth it but signing him to that means you have to cut some more promising younger players. long term pain short term gain

Again, he's getting better and playing smarter. I don't know how you can watch the west and say the rockets have a 10 yr run if everything pans out when ok city is not only in your conference, but in your division. Im old enough to remember the Clippers and Blazers were next up until the Warriors happened. You can miss me with the 31 ultra athleticism as we see guys playing at a high level until they 36 ish. If Amen is who we think he is, when Giannis slows a little, Amen will be peaking. If they somehow keep Alpi, he will be a great 3rd option. Everyone else are role guys. Getting Giannis gives them at 5 yr window, without him they have no window. Again, not saying he's Dream, but Dream was a better player, not a better athlete in his early 30s vs his mid 20s and that's saying something. Same with a high effort guy like Garnett. Athleticism isn't just running and jumping, its moving lateral also.

I think its this summer ,like when they moved KAT. Lillard has 2 yrs left and he's gonna miss all next season. He will be a stretch provision or a expiring contract after next season.
