Has anyone ever seen the Shadow People or the Black Shadows? Very creepy stuff -- kind of deep sleep phenomenon (sleep paralysis). It's very related to old stories like the Old Hag or Incubus/ Succubus, but a lot weirder if that's possible. Shadow People

Too add to what fba said God made two types of creatures that could think at will and are allowed to choose their own destinys ( kinda like decided if they want to be good or evil) One was us humans, the other are Jinns As to what they are made of, I'm not sure, The more popular opinions are: They are said to be made of "flame", and I think it's like an ultraviolet light, hence why humans cannot see them in their true form ( i read this in an article, i forget which), and they can shape shift, and can come in the form of animals They tend to not live near human settlements, and try and avoid humans in general They possess humans, this is known and proven around the world, though the possession are rare (a lot of people claim to be possessed when they really arent) The things I know are true: They are creatures similar to human, both good and bad in them, and they along with humans are the only ones with the abilities to choose the way they live They possess humans As to their claim of eating bones, I have never heard that before. And I dont think they are demons, cause demons refers to something entirely evil And you may laugh at me, but until you've seen something with your own eyes you may tend not to believe it They are very real
You dont follow any sort of religion do you? At least with things like this there are actual accounts and evidence (as flimsy as it may be to scientific standards). It's like UFOs.
This used to happen to me alot. Freaked me out of my mind everytime it happened. My ex-gf claimed she saw a shadow person one night trying to choke me.
I've had that feeling where you can't move while you're sleeping and you think you're held down by a ghost, and so did my old roommates. The explaination was that the leg sends a signal that it's asleep and your brain thinks its dying. So it fills in the blank while you're sleeping. It's still freaking crazy....
The night my grandfather passed away my aunt who was staying with a friend got a call from a lady telling her that her dad had "left" and wanted her to know that he was fine. She hadn't told anyone that she was going to be there that night. My uncle's beeper kept going off with an unlisted number, so he turns it off and later his phone rings but no one answers on the other end when he picks up. I woke up aboout 4 that morning because a bunch of dogs were fighting outside my bedroom window and kept it up for about 10 minutes. The craziest thing about his passing away though was the funeral. Hundreds and hundreds of people there and at the exact moment the priest is saying ashes to ashes dust to dust, this huge gust of wind comes and blows all this dirt that was on the casket over everyone. Later that week we watch the tape of the funeral and waiting especially for the gust of wind part. As the camera focuses on the priest he says ashes to ashes dust to dust, then the tape stops and all we see is static.
I have had a couple of unexplained encounters..... Here's one... I lived in college dorm (single). No one had the key to the room except myself. One day I come back to my room and call up my mom. She picks up the phone and as we begin to talk she mentions to me that we had just talked. I was like huh? I just came back from classes and lab. I told her she must have gotten my answering machine. She said no. Shesaid she had talked to me for over 10 mins and it was a back and forth conversation. Apparently someone or something was conversing with my mom and it made itself seem like me. This happened on 2 seperate occasions from the same room. Needless to say I moved out of that dorm the nxt semester. I have heard there have been suicide cases in that dorm. PS. I did not have a cell phone at this time.

A long time ago I managed apartments in Houston. We had one apartment that had been abandoned weeks earlier, power shut off (summertime), and one bedroom was freezing cold. Something else odd happened but all I recall is the temp. None of our staff wanted to go back in.

the thing is, just because you cant explain it, or havent experienced it, doesnt mean its not real. i've never experienced anything paranormal, but i'm not that quick to dismiss it. until its proven not to exist, i'll keep an open mind
