That was pretty hilarious, I like how the the show emphasized the team was scheduled to have a snack after the meeting by showing the whiteboard containing the itinirary making us all wonder "why the hell are they showing us they are about to have a snack", then the rant came...

I missed the first 2 episodes but have seen all the rest and Rex actually seems like a genuinely nice guy who cares about his players

I love having brash guys in positions of authority in sports, but all his yapping is going to bite Ryan in the ass. It always does in the NFL. No **** talking until you are better than 9-7.

Rex Ryan is an amazing coach. It takes an elite coach to take a 9-7 Eric Mangini coached Jets team and turn them into a 9-7 Jets team.

I like how he made the Colts rest their starters and won tie breakers. Freakin genius.

I saw a snippet of the hard knocks show..his cursing didn't seem natural. Staged, almost.

    Idk.

I'm pretty sure that if HBO ever does an NBA training camp show, Rick Adelman will not be the coach featured. You really need a Rex Ryan type to make these things watchable.

"Lets go out and JET FOOTBALL!!"

    "Play like a Jet!!"

WTF do you mean??? Outside of Broadway Joe what tradition do the Jets have besides being the little step-child to the New York Football Giants?

I agree but you don't necessarily need a crazy coach, the past two seasons it was Wade Phillips and Marvin Lewis, both pretty "vanilla" (and chocolate). You just need enough personalities involved to generate the entertainment (for those who aren't interested in the actual football aspect of the show, which I truly am), the Cowboys season they had Tony Homo and TO and the Bengals season had Ocho Cinco.

Is it safe to say that of all the overhyped teams this year, the Jets are overhypiest? I understand that the Ravens have good D, but really? 60 yards passing and 6 first downs? Apparently all of the Texans' opponents this year are just begging for a beatdown.

Jets are next to the Cowboys for teams I despise.

    It was a good weekend

I'm really starting to think that Mark Sanchez is the worst starting QB in the NFL.

    Week 11

He won't be starting for long. Brunell looked better in preseason.

If the owner of the Jets had any balls...he would of traded for Donovon McNabb . Dnabb could bring them at least to the Super Bowl.
