I seem to recall them on very friendly speaking terms when the teams played against each other at the end of this season.
My tone wasn't angry. My tone was mocking. He has given no indication that he wants to be traded. The team has not been actively trying to trade him. And you admitted yourself that he was the best player on the team. So what the hell was the point in starting a thread about trying to acquire an unavailable player that's a major building block of his team? It would be as if I started a thread with "hey, Brandon Roy seems to like Rick Adelman, so what are the chances we'll get him?"
I wouldn't to get opinions on the feasibility of, ie contracts, etc. I like the guy, and think he'd be a great fit on the rockets. And I mentioned that he was the best player on their roster to let you guys be aware that I know he is not likely to be traded, but that doesn't mean that there isn't something else out there that I've missed, thus asking for more opinions from everyone else.
Rajon Rondo: 13.7 ppg, 9.8 ast, .540 TS%, good defense Derrick Rose: 20.3 ppg, 5.9 ast, .490 TS%, bad defense Aaron Brooks: 19.6 ppg, 5.4 ast, .549 TS%, bad defense I could see the argument from Brooks making it in over Rose, definitely. He was much more efficient of a scorer. Rondo is a tougher call because it depends how you measure and value defense and assists versus points scored. But certainly it seems like AB could make the bench for the ASG.
Remember when AB lit up Rondo toward the end of the season and Rondo had a terrible game on both ends? That was a good night.
Shrugs... people have different opinions on different players. Thats why each player has their own fans. I personally would trust the ball in Rondo's hands way more than I probably ever would in AB's hand. You also forgot to mention that in the previous game that the C's won where Rondo contained AB defensively. Check the game logs for March 19th. Those are some pretty ugly numbers for our supposed best player. Anyone can point at one game, but until they play each other a lot more, who can say. Besides, Rondo can put a triple double on any given night and contain opposing PG's. I really doubt we will ever see that from AB. AB is merely another undersized scoring/shooting guard like Nate Robinson and Ben Gordon.
Well, maybe, but Wallace hates RA to guts. His rookie years at Sac were terrible due to RA lack of trust in him. He hates RA, well documented, google it.
Michael Jordan has taken liberty in trying to coach up Gerald Wallace. There's no way he would ok a deal to trade him at this point... especially considering he was basically the only guy worth a damn in that series.
