The first option was the Clark Kent superman look, which I thought was yuppie-ish or nerdy but framed my face really well. Apparently it brings out strong jawlines, I mean whatever I don't pay attention to that stuff.

The other one was a rimless pair that gave me a really sophisticated look, like Richard Gere in Pretty Woman but hotter. Again, it's all superficial but I guess other people really respond to it so far be it for me to take that away from them.

As most of you know, I have perfect vision but just want to change things up for the weekend. I guess being intellectually sexual is now the theme in my 30's as most people see a mannequin of excellence who was too pampered to ever be much beyond the surface -- and feel a bit intimidated.

I've also subscribed to Le Monde and the Wall Street Journal to keep abreast of current topics. Just another challenge for a guy who continues to push the limits of what a conventional trophy boyfriend is.

    I already love this thread.

Because I KNOW you are sincere, here are my frames.

As you know, I actually have x-ray vision that I use to fight crime and see through clothing, but I wear these when lounging at the club after 18 holes of championship level golf. Personally, I find it all to be mundane, but some of the older champions of industry prefer I wear these when I'm doling out advice to them regarding their vast estates and while discussing luxury automobiles. You know the type, I'm sure.

Apparently honey-boo-boo is jealous of the attention Paul is receiving.

Listen Max, I think we all know what's going on here.

You resent me for my looks. The ass bongos. The yacht, whatever. I'm not one to hide from who I am or what I've accomplished, and I like to share this positive mood with others. And others appreciate the courtesy I extend to them.

But that's no excuse for someone on the other end of the spectrum to completely lose any sincerity and passion when having conversations with others. You're a grown man Max, and if you can't comment on spectacle trends or intellectual party talk, then it's best to be polite and not say anything at all. It's something I knew long before I picked up my first copy of the WSJ.

I got sick of wearing contacts everyday so I had my exam and ended up buying a pair of Tom Davies Bespoke glasses. They took 6 weeks to arrive after being built for my face and they send you a video of everything in process 3 times a week.

One pair in brown, one in matte black.

Also went with Gold and Wood Prescription sunglasses like the ones below and love 'em. I tried to wear my contacts this week but threw them out last night. Just prefer the glasses now.

You have me confused for someone else.

Resent you? I champion your cause here.

Losing sincerity/passion? Son, I invented sincerity and passion.

At the MadMax household we speak of little else but spectacle trends and/or the fodder/topics of intellectual party talk. And I can assure you, those discussions are conducted with the utmost degree of sincerity and with great passion.

Put me in the can't wear contacts group. I can get them in and out fine but they make my vision worse. Tryed 3 years in a row and they just don't work. Those glasses are nice by the way, may look for the black frames.
