Yes there doesn't seem to be any car over $50k in those videos. Now living in LA I've gone to both Clipper and Lakers games (free corporate tickets) and noticed even the lower paid players drive Bentleys, Ferraris and Astons.

    Had to post it:

And I guess this guy wouldn't fit in:
    http://nba.fanhouse.com/2009/06/10/marcin-gortat-drives-fastest-car-in-nba/

"It could go over 200 mph, maybe 225 mph,'' he said. "I don't want to drive that fast, but what matters is how quick it goes from 0-60. I can pull up next to a Ferrari or Lamborghini at a light, look over, and they might start laughing. But when it turns green, I'm gone, waiting at the next light when they get there, and I'm the one laughing then.''

I know these guys are limited to the vehicles they can drive purely by the fact that they are giants but damnnnn they could do so much better at their income level!

I can think of a few things of why they aren't riding nicer rides at home games; their real nice rides are at their real homes where they're from, they probably realize in htown they'll pull women on them being pro athletes alone (not a lot of competition in their income level), and htown has some terrible roads to be driving a low profile sports car.

    they'd probably just do this:

    http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/16/sports/basketball/16cars.html

Most professional basketball players do not have permanent homes in the cities where their teams play, so for those not headed to the playoffs, the mission is to get their luxury vehicles shipped home safely — across the country, or even across the world.

Sure a lot of pro athletes do that, but I got a feeling Scola drives a nicer ride at his real home than just a Mustang. I get a feeling Scola and Budinger's rides are just leased.
